Who did we play in the U-21 semi?
Dublin. I take it you have no interest in underage games so.

It would be a pain in the bollix with traffic. Not sure I've ever been to a match in Tullamore
You didn't attend the All Ireland U21 semi final in 2016 or All Ireland minor quarter final 2013 there?  Kildare were already beaten in Tullamore this year by Carlow and will hardly be in a hurry to go back to that venue?

Great to see Carlow, Fermanagh, Tipperary, and Laois all hammered this weekend. More of this please. These Div 3 and 4 counties need to keep taking these heavy tankings. Eventually then they will wake up and stop blocking a tiered championship. Hopefully they experience massive player turnover. Just because they win one big game doesn't give them a God given right to play at the top level.

Tier the championship but until then keep beating these teams by 10 points +
Poor effort at trolling there. Give it another go.

Kildare v Mayo
Armagh v Clare
Leitrim v Monaghan
Cavan v Tyrone

Straightforward wins for Monaghan,Kildare and Mayo it should be. Armagh v Clare the only tough games to call.

Straight forward wins for Mayo and Kildare?
Tyrone. A straight forward defeat for Kildare.

Why did Offaly change their jerseys at half time today?

The game is banjaxed

The four 2017 provincial finals had an average winning margin of 0-9, the four quarterfinals concluded with an average margin of 0-15, and the semi-finals' concluding average was 0-9.

2018 is already better regarding provincial finals

Dublin 1-25 Laois 0-10 : 28-10 = 18  ( Div 1 v Div 4)
Kerry 3-18 Cork 2-4 A record :27-10 =17  (Div 1 v average Div 2 team)
Donegal 2-18 Fermanagh 0-12 : 24-12 = 12  (Div 1 v Div 3)
Galway 0-16  Roscommon 2-6 : 16-12 =4 (Div 1 v Div 2 side just promoted back)

Total points difference

18+17+12+4= 51
Average = 13

The attendances are confirmation.

Any surprise that the Connacht final was the most closely contested one?

The Dubs looked more like themselves in that 2nd half but Laois had nothing left after doing most of their running first half.
#3069
Laois were level on 17 mins 1-1 to 0-4, 30 mins played since then and outscored 0-12 to 0-3

What a brutal penalty effort.

Surprisingly so.
Mannion was a serious soccer player.
Plenty of football players are brutal at taking penalties ask England. This is the worst i have seen Dublin play since the 2016 drawn All Ireland final. Fair play to Laois though tactics spot on so far.

7 of ye are wrong so far!
Make that 9
17 people was right. Hard luck Offaly decent effort against a side than finished 3rd in Div 2 this spring.

The way this game is going Donegal will win by about 15 points. Pity the big underdogs Fermanagh couldn't give a better account of themselves in the final but they have done great to reach the final in the first place. Donegal a much improved outfit from last year a nice blend of youth and experience.

FT Tipp 1-11 Mayo 1-19. Very harsh scoreline on Tipp in a game of what might have been for Tipp while Mayo live to fight another day.

Why was it harsh , you're an awful p***k don't ya think. Sick to my balls listening to want ers like you . What was harsh about it , have you ever played football, you  batter a team that are not at your level in the last period cause they haven't the legs nor strength to keep with ya .
Best not to post on feed of drink Larry. If you need reminding Mayo got a lucky goal totally against the run of play that changed the course of the game. For 50 of the 70 mins Tipp gave as good as they got and didn't deserve to lose by a margin of 8 points.

I don't know why you're defending one of your alt accounts so openly and quickly on this of all topics, but even though Larrin said it in the most obnoxious way posssible he's entirely correct that the scoreline accurately reflected the level of Tipp's collapse. You can't not turn up for 20 minutes of a match and then 'undeservedly' get hammered.

Defending one of my alt accounts what are you on about? just one example for you 2015 AI semi final Mayo lost by 7 points to Dublin few if any thought Dublin deserved to win by that margin. The final margin sometimes doesn't tell the full tale of 70 minute game.
