Wasn’t one of those fellas on the Mayo panel? Or have I got that mixed up?

John Morley played with Mayo seniors 1961 to 1974. Won a few Connacht titles and NFL Div 1 league. He also won Railway Cup medals in 1967 and 1969. When that competition was important.

I see Conor Meyler and Conal McCann pulled him up on the tweet about Tyrone training.

He's still sticking with his sources though  ;D

I see this account has been suspended.

Also I see he spent the weekend attacking Tony Holohan and Leo.

Attacked Leo for posting up a picture on a night out for a meal. I'm guessing cocooning has drove him more insane.

The resurrection of knockout hasnít warmed his heart this year. He knows that itís simply a symptom of dysfunction.
ďThis is a little bit like the foot-and-mouth league - the Covid All-Ireland! No matter who wins it, it will be tainted because itís different.Ē
Translation of Maughan: "I'm a Manchester United supporter fuming that Liverpool are back on their perch."

Perch quote relates to league titles won. Liverpool on 18 titles back when the quote was made United 7. Right now it's 20 - 19 in favour of United. Now back to topic, tainted championship or not can Dublin win the All Ireland with a FF Taoiseach in charge?
Ferguson made the quote in 2002 actually, when Manchester United were still four behind Liverpool in league titles. He made clear the job of knocking Liverpool "off their perch" had already been achieved.

Now Liverpool, like Dublin, are very much back on their perch.

Many of the informed journalists reminded Ferguson  of his quote when United won their 19th league title in 2011, in reply Fergie gave a Jim Gavin like smirk.  Liverpool with a great manager and lack of challengers should have no problem getting to 21 league titles in the years ahead.

As for Dublin they are still 13 All-Ireland titles behind Kerry. A target for Dessie to reach?

Why should they take responsibility for the death toll? Ridiculous statement.

Yes they could have done better.

However again your point ignores the fact that but for lockdown this would have been way worse. So yes it hasnít been as bad as predicted but the world has been half shut and it isnít over yet.
Hard to believe that point still has to be explained to some.

From a 2 meter distance i was talking to a 41 year old woman that recovered from Covid today. She picked it up when someone coughed on her when working in a car boot sale in Carrick on Shannon and Leitrim I might add has the lowest number of case in the ROI.

Her lungs collasped and was placed induced coma for six weeks. She's not overweight or had any underlying conditions makes one think about this seriousness of this virus.

She assumes she picked it up that way because it's memorable I take it?

What's more likely is, she's not washed her hands after filling up the car, using an ATM, drinking out of a workplace tea cup which hasn't been cleaned properly or handled by someone else prior (making it for her) etc.

All she was in contact with was tracked and traced. The fella that accidentally coughed in her direction had mild symptoms and didn't know he had the virus until tested.

It happened in early March when people was less clued on the precautions to take.

Always find it weird that people get wrankled by this.

Me too, it's the team you support in-spite of where you live. You are a supporter of the team/club. Supporters, players, and staff make up the club so why not say 'we' & 'us' when discussing them?

The we and us stuff never bothered me as people follow the sport like a religion. Speaking of Liverpool supporters AZOffaly hasn't posted on here for a while I hope he's alright?

Training for nothing , there will be no inter county this year .

You reckon?

Just have a feeling looking at all these reports of spikes after countries start to open up we could be looking at another lockdown by autumn , hope I’m wrong . I honestly thought we had it near beat but these reports from parts of Spain , USA etc are not good at all and they are all linked to bars , hotels , restaurants opening up , social gatherings seem to be a complete fook up when it comes to covid . It’s all very depressing, anyone else’s head melted over it ?

Don't know about Spain but parts of the USA never took it seriously to begin with and they have a gobshite for a president.

If spikes happen here counties rather than a countrywide lockdown is more likely. I think we should wait to see how the club championships goes before making judgement on the inter County season. Loads of club challenges was played in the last week and we still have a low number of cases.

whats the craic with croke park if fans are banned but pubs are allowed open will we not see fans descend to dublin pubs on all ireland  final saturday.

If fans aren't allowed into Croke Park HQ will likely cancel the championship

So what was the problem trailer?

Food was good. Beach good. One pub accessible. Sounds good enough to me. Bring cash next time  ;)

It rains in Donegal ya know. Like everywhere else in Ireland  :D

I think people are used to being entertained, and having everything laid on for them  with water parks and sea worlds in Tenerife and the likes. The good think about holidays in Ireland is sometimes you make your own entertainment, and maybe get back to nature, walks, frigging about on beach, kids at rock pools, snakes and ladders inside while it pisses rain. Thatís all part of it. Sometimes the simple things you do are often the most memorable.

Best for trailer to stay away from those places as I think he's allergic to water  ;)

It's been known for months that ROI followed the WHOís guidelines and included every possible death many other countries didn't do that and it made Ireland look worse on the death tables that some lads were running on social media.

Another week over.

Deaths 11 (half the amount of deaths compared to last week)
Cases 91 from 35,252 tests the last 7 days

Hopefully the scenes such as Dame Street last night doesn't bring a spike in cases next week.

Donegal is fantastic.
Absolutely. I'd like to hear about trailers non terrible counties to visit in Ireland.

The prices to go away for a few nights in Ireland are a disgrace

You are not wrong Jim. We spent 5 nights in Las Vegas a few years ago (good hotel on the strip, flights from Dublin -> Heathrow -> Vegas), it was cheaper than 5 nights (same dates ) to stay in a 3* hotel in Bundoran.

Iíd rather stay in Bundoran. Las Vegas is my idea of hell.
Why so? You donít need to drink or gamble in Vegas to enjoy it.

Everything about it just looks so false. Itís almost like a cruise ship, as youíre feckiní stuck there in the middle of the desert. Just not my kind of holiday. Bundoran for me!  ;D

It's man/machine built like any city. I'm guessing you never visited and wouldn't be a fan of other desert cites such as Dubai? Better places in Donegal than Bundoran and I'd encourage you to explore the county, will be a lot more reasonable priced accommodation there than some of the prices quoted here.
