Well done Meath, haven't kicked on from last win but coming to  this level will be very manageable for them if they continue with their upward progression. Antrim will not be looking forward to that game

This day next week the weather is forecasted to be 38 DC in Paris, 34 in London and wait for it 17 in Dublin.

Forecasts a week away are as accurate as forecasting how brexit will end up

From the start there was only one team, Kildare are like a lot of division one teams physically bigger in all departments, core strength and fitness levels are 3 divisions above Antrim, that doesn't happen overnight and would have made no difference had we played the great Andy McCallin when he was in his pump!

If you think a dads army team would have made a difference then you are just confirming that you are not wise

Antrim showing why we must implement a tiered championship immediately. Stuffed by double scores in front of 2.5k spectators. To save our Gaelic football games we must address these inadequacies immediately.

How'd Tyrone do in the hurling this weekend?

Please revert to the hurling discussion section.

This is the GAA section, unless hurling has changed association then it's still GAA discussion. I'll bring it up here if I want. So how's that tiered structure going for Tyrone hurling?

I think if Antrim were a one code county they'd be more successful and have a bigger following.

Actually, Lisbon is lovely

Had conversation with someone the other day about Lisbon, was interested in going and he said it was worse than Barcelona for pickpockets!
We have been in Lisbon twice over the last few years and never  had any issues ourselves but have heard  of some of the popular tourist trams being rife with pickpockets

I suppose they are on all the big cites!

Top of division two looks to be getting interesting with sarsfields beat and st endas beating Creggan.

I think a few of the teams that got beat last night will take the defeats ok as not too many want to go up  8)

I think St Endas want to as do Sarsfields, Creggan not as equipped too as they have a panel that have too many dual players, Sarsfields in same bracket though. St Endas want to go up, there is no way Sambo would accept anything else, and why should he

Need to book something for my wife's 40th next January preferably a citybreak around that time. It's not usually a time of year we'd head away has anyone any ideas of what to do??

Was thinking New York maybe but I'm thinking January wouldn't be the best time. All recommendations welcome.

PS. Not winter sun would rather be doing something.
Skiing  ;D

Miami.

Vegas!

I'm guessing value is attributed to length of contract, age etc. Liverpool would have a relatively young squad compared to the likes of barca/RM etc. Surprised PSG are not higher though.

Liverpool's squad value ranked second-highest in Europe at £1billion
Liverpool's overall squad value has risen dramatically after Jurgen Klopp's side won the Champions League and pushed Manchester City all the way to the Premier League title, according to Transfermarkt.com, via the Express.

A combination of intelligent transfer business and player development has seen the Reds rise in value over the last 12 months to second place in the list of most valuable teams in the world, just behind Manchester City.

According to Transfermarkt, the Merseyside club's squad is now worth an estimated £1billion, with City valued at £1.05billion.

Fellow Champions League finalists Tottenham have also gained significant squad value in the last year, moving ahead of Real Madrid and Manchester United in the list.

Despite heavy investment, United's squad is worth just £706.28million, placing them ninth in the rankings.

Everton have also increased in value to just scrape into the top 20 at £397.58million.

Below are the most valuable teams in the world (as of June 19) according to Transfermarkt.com.

20. Everton – £397.58m

19. Valencia – £400.95m

18. RB Leipzig – £429.03m

17. Ajax – £437.58m

16. AC Milan – £450.9m

15. Inter Milan – £475.92m

14. Napoli – £509.40m

13. Borussia Dortmund – £547.47m

12. Arsenal – £569.03m

11. Juventus – £670.95m

10. Bayern Munich – £676.35m

9. Manchester United – £706.28m

8. Real Madrid – £784.28m

7. Tottenham Hotspur – £793.35m

6. Paris Saint-Germain – £830.03m

5. Atletico Madrid – £840.60m

4. Chelsea – £861.98m

3. Barcelona – £958.95m

2. Liverpool – £1.00bn

1. Manchester City – £1.05bn[/i]

Thats how a European league would finish up

Antrim pushing tickets still for a game with 2.5k capacity. But if there's a 2nd tier no one will be interested in going to games. A joke argument made by people who have limited mental capacity.

Sold out

The fact they had to push tickets and that they weren't massively oversubscribed is an embarrassment.
No 2nd tier! No one will be interested!!!!

Push? It was on social media, the PR people promoting games? Should he not do that? I didnt realise Antrim were the only county that uses social media to inform people about games. Some counties are missing a trick here..
