So ESPN won't be showing MNF over here?  Free to air or not its a small step back if we can not record red button games.  Disappointed to hear this.

I got my premium tickets for the navy/notre dame game yesterday. My friends who ordered the regular tickets still haven't got their tickets yet, just wondering has anyone else received their tickets yet?

I have a few such as Pro Evo soccer, Madden Football 2006, Metal Gear Solid and a few more I don't play anymore.  I can send them on if ya want AZ.  I don't use them anymore.

As someone who always wanted to see a United Ireland this thread just shows why a bit percentage of the people in the south want nothing to do with the six counties.  If it was the other way around and it was a Nationalist child that was murdered I have my doubts the original poster would have made this thread but I know for certain that there would have been much more outrage from the Republicans on this board.  Bias from both sides creeps through.

R.I.P Gordon Gallagher, another pointless death.

Thank feck this shite is over for another year. It's all I've heard about all week in the Irish media. Not a word about the league starting, but hyping up this pile of dung!

Scrappy game of gaelic football or top class game of American football...hmm tough choice

Back in your box Tim.

Tom is still the daddy!!

It has been a good season.  Avoided consecutive losing seasons, won the AFC West, first playoff win in six years.  I admire talent and class and that's what Brady and Co have in abundance.  You offered me a Divisional play-off match against the Patriots back in week one I would have snapped it up.

Happened to me years ago when I was in school.  Was grand one second the next I started to feel weird and couldn't hear properly, next thing I remember laying on the ground.  I was terribly sick for days after it.  The doc said I picked up some bug that caused it.

Delighted with the draw.  I'd be pretty confident except for the fact Keane might not be back and we could struggle to score goals without him especially with Doyle missing the first game as well.

I'm not too enamoured with the away game first. I know that technically it's better, but I get the feeling with this manager that Ireland will play for 0-0 over there, when I think you should be trying to score. 1-1 is better than 0-0 away from home.

I would agree with that line of thought.  I hate teams playing for a 0-0 draw away from home.  Its OK doing that in a league or group structure when you're not confident of winning but a playoff is a different situation.  Come away with a 0-0 draw and one bit of madness or a bit of bad luck in the home match and you could find yourself 1-0 down and need two.  That's why its very important that we at least get one in Estonia.  They are no world beaters and we have to go over there believing we can score.

Last year's AI winners Clarinbridge were nearly beaten in Galway as well. Were lucky to get a draw against Mullagh apparently. Draw for semis already made.

Gort v St Thomas's
Craughwell v Clarinbridge or Mullagh
Clarinbridge were haunted - any bit of composure at all from Mullagh would have seen them home.  Replay is on next weekend.

Mullagh had their chance.  The Bridge will advance in the replay and then beat Craughwell while Gort should overcome St. Thomas's I'd say.

I'm not really worried about missing Doyle.  I don't think either Doyle or Long are that good when playing for Ireland but between the two I'd rather see Long.  I'm more worried about Keane missing the game.  People like to bash Keane at every opportunity but whatever about his club form down through the years he is easily Irelands best striker of all time and while frustrating at times we can't do without him.

A maths degree for a hobby?

I think that is the saddest thing I've ever seen written down.

That's a bit harsh AZ.  Many peoples idea of a hobby is spending every Saturday and Sunday stuck in the pub.  At least he's trying to make use of his spare time.

A result is a result.  Its typical Ireland though.  We go to places like Russia, Italy, France etc and come away with a lot more than anyone ever expects us to yet we struggle to outplay less skilled teams such as Armenia and Andorra.

We got two lucky goals but a result is a result and again we find ourselves in the playoffs.  I can't wait for the draw.
