The UK government, of which we are not in control of or have any say in, who get into elected positions are the only people to 'get' at by voting for someone who'll actually do something about it... At the minute the Tories don't give a flying f**k and the same people will still give them a majority win come the polls.

The higher the fuel goes up the more money the government make and the more money the share holders of BP and so on will keep this going.. Its getting to the point where nearly every time I'm in the car I'm wondering do I have to?

With Russia looking fairly near to 'liberating' the Luhansk-Donestk regions what does the short to medium term future hold now? With the cost of living spiralling a lot of countries are going to be hoping for a ceasefire / uneasy peace.

Russia are still f**ked medium term.

Unfortunately, millions of poor bstards across the world will likely starve due to Putin's madness.

How handy is to have a war to blame for this complete financial shit show? 

If the war stopped tomorrow would fuel drop back to 1.25 a litre, would home heating oil drop back to normal levels?

Would the price of food drop?

How quick would that happen?

Either team could take this. Armagh answered a lot of critics in their last two matches and if they continue with that form they'll be hard to stop. While Galway are well rested, I would question whether that is much of an advantage. Armagh have been training like demons all year so you'd expect they bring that same intensity to Croke Park. I see Jamie Clarke is back on home soil, any chance of a late call up?!

It must be great being you. 20 years of fergie time. Late game winners in all the big games and small and never once does it cross your mind that getting an edge like that in pro sports is more than a little suspect. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

What about taking quick free kicks. Even if there is a booking. What about kicking it to yourself? A solo? Would speed things up and really punish the foul. Teams try and foul players to slow it down. Hat tip to Gary Lineker who said this about soccer.

One of the things I hate to see is a player who has won a free and who tries to play it quick from a metre or 2 away where free was awarded. Ball played quick to keep momentum and ref calls it back and argues with player who took it quick. Advantage lost over a metre or 2 and not as if it a scoring free.

Good refs let this go and keep game moving. Allowing the advantage of taking free quickly from current position rather than position of foul could help providing it not a scoring opportunity.

Completely agree with that, you're punishing the player that was fouled by making them come back a yard or two and letting the other team get set up.

I disagree with this. Just take the free from where the foul occurs. Its not that hard
