A down poster on another forum posted that Kilcoo people who were disgusted by the abuse were openly naming the two responsible individuals. Was pretty surprised - one a young promising player and the other a county panelist.
cannot be condoned but should be considered in the context of a pressurised match where cross were the dominant side and kilcoo were struggling for the most part
we all have taken verbals on the field

i would hope in the cold light of day these two who said it realise the foolishness of the behaviour and a public apology may be the first steps

not a shinner but have to agree that Price and corey have been removed from the streets  which should be construed as internment by the back door.
we shouldnt lambast other regimes and allow this to happen in a supposedly mature democracy

interesting wee spack between shinners sdlp and dup over the cuts,
the guys try to play real politics every so often but the tribal tendencies always seem to get in the way.

reality is the cuts will be voted through because we need the block grant because of the bloated public sector and welfare state.

Inching towards a quarter of people in the 26 counties wanting to put back in power the party which bankrupted the place and surrendered sovereignty. Pathetic beyond belief! Shameful!
i can understand why people might be tempted to try FF again. Enda has been no great shakes and SF havent really done anything  in the south since gerry went down there. o doherty might have been a better choice but i really dont know  what is behind their policies.
having said that sf are in power in stormont and the north is in a mess
with no direction whatsoever.

Fitz you can bet as long as your arse hole looks down the teams needed to get the vital Pt's will do so, there will be a few teams not showing and a few W/O's handed out. However, anyteam that's in the position of waiting on other teams failing (Clans and Clann Eireann) have only themselves to blame for being in that position.

I'm sure you'll agree on that...
100% correct there. Still doesn't make it right though - Makes it harder to take! as long as these things aren't forgotten in the long run I suppose lol

Think Clans and Clann Eireann were officially relegated today anyway! With St Paul's and possibly St Peter's to replace them... How times have changed  :o

In these days of austerity, and with a view to producing a team that could challenge for Div 1 and the championship, which of the 4 teams above would be the most likely to merge?
None. I'd say teams would sooner fold than amalgamate in Lurgan.
