Antrim / Re: Antrim Football Thread
August 08, 2008, 01:25:20 PM
I'd say more like

St Galls 4/7
Cargin 11/10
St Pauls 6/1
Creggan 7/1
Portglenone 10/1
St Brigids 16/1
20/1 bar

If Portglenone weren't playing St Galls first I would have them 5/1 third favourites. Nothing surer than the fact that they will be going out at the weekend.

Good shout on Karlsson so far, he's had 6 birdies after 11 to be -4.

You can't win it on the first day but on the other hand..

Lads if we're giving them an official thread, shouldn't we also give them the right name.

Pints of it blows the tits clean of ye

Aye, if you're ever suffering badly the next day try pouring a can of it on your Golden Graham's instead of milk. You'll be right as rain after that.

Lovely beer, especially a nicely chilled can. Which is strange considering that in general I find most canned beer putrid compared to the bottled equivalent (especially Harp).

Took away a bit of piping, a bust wheelbarrow, couple of bits of stuff the plasters use to make the corners neat.
The rag and bone man is alive and well.

About 30 quid then. Scrap metal's worth a fortune now.

Belfast's Marty Smyth has just won the $10k Pot Limit Omaha World Championship event at the WSOP, beating the world's best players and  picking up $859,549  in the process.   Well done Marty, great for Irish poker. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Used to regularly dream that I had gone out of the house naked in the morning, ending up in work/school with everyone looking at me.

The most realistic one I had was where me and a mate were being chased by some huge thugs, the dream was like a chase scene from a movie and ended up with us hiding in a toilet cubicle, the thugs burst in and kicked the bejesus out of me, finished me off with a shot to the head - next thing I was walking down the street and met the thug who gave me a funny look and walked on.
When I woke up I couldn't stop thinking about it all day.

QuoteI think Garcia is one of the more likable players on the tour,I would love to see him win a major

Couldn't agree more (except when he needs to miss a putt to let Harrington win).

Cheers for posting the odds, I think Immelman will be carrying my hopes this week, some of his putting was unreal last weekend, and he's the kind of player who thinks his way round a course which will be vital this week.

As mentioned above, Els has been showing signs that a good week might not be too far away, or how about Andres Romero for an Argentinean double?

For a real outside punt Oliver Wilson e/w @ 250/1 - obviously no experience whatsoever at this level but it's amazing how often a player on good form keeps a run of good finishes going, and he's been on one for the last month or so.
