Well that's not true. Sturridge blazed over an open goal, unmarked, from six yards. Lallana close with a header (keeper may have had it covered if it hadn't been deflected).

Wouldn't have scored if they were there for another hour. They were all poor tonight. Lallana is a useless cnut and offers nothing anymore.
A draw in the other game would do nicely now as it would still leave us top of the group I think.
Last game against Napoli will probably be a winner takes all game.

Mentally weren't at it.  Sturridge misses a sitter and it all goes to shite after that.  Matip is as weak as water.  Don't want to see Lallana start another game anytime soon.  At this stage Salah needs 'rested'.  Would like to see Shaqiri given a start at the weekend.  He deserves his chance.

Look at the difference between Offaly and Westmeath or Tipperary and Waterford.
