Kerry very cynical as usual taking out the man after the ball has been played. Duffy doing his best to keep Kerry in it

Will you give it a rest? They don't want to hear it on here.

Kerry must have some hold on the GAA. Duffy doing everything to keep them in it. Should it not have been a lenister ref considering duffy is from sligo a neighbouring county to donegal.

Fair play Dublin, best team won by country mile and should have won by more really. thought McQuillan had a decent enough game, apart from the Joe McMahon incident in the 1st half. Can't for the life of me understand why he blew McMahon up for free in, even few Dub lads infront thought it was a joke of a free.
Have to say the Dublin fellas infront of me were great craic & dye hard supporters as well by the sound of them, good to see true GAA fans from the city and have the banter to go with it, its what our game is all about.

GAA Discussion / Re: Dún na nGall v Cill Dara

McGee diffently had a horse of a game I thought as well. Averaged enough player, but has been playing well so far. It's a shame when people pay their hard earned money to see games lost on a ref. Kildare diff should have had a free before the winner was scored by Cassidy. Was he afraid to give it? Certainly looked like it. As for the sq ball Leo regarding of weather he had his foot in the sq of not (which I don't think he had) once the ball came off the upright it was back in play and therefore the goal should have stood, end off.
The gave muldoon's sq ball the week before, but the clearest sq ball from last weeks games was Joe McMahons  against  Armagh and it didn't even get a mention oh sorry it didn't from that nob Tony Davis.  Burns was right when he said on tv last night, once the ball leaves the foot of the kicker if the sq is clear its all to fight for.

Can we not just get rid of the lot of them, they are all animals up North anyways.
Let them set up a Northern Ireland Championship or include London and let them have UK Championship.
Sure your crew are more brit than the nordies so you can't talk :D

he played on the left he played on the right that boy skinner made armagh look shit ;)
On another day he could have got the line for the cowardly stunt on andy Mallon   Again Brennan saw this and took him off

He kicked the ball of his shins, hardly a cowardly stunt.  Mallon looked to be going for the windpipe
pincer movement which seemed a bit more of a cowardly stunt to be honest.
Maybe he couldn't  make him out so decided to tweak his voice box a little ::)

Ffs, what was Quinn taking that free for, was there no left footed dub with some balls? Talk about choking, I think there are major mental issues with that Dublin team.
Ten years on and Dublin still have no balls.  Chocking is an understatement, without Brogan they are very ordinary

Get over myself/chip on my shoulder  ???

Lads i'm talking about casual observer giving st Brigids no chance before a ball is thrown in. (these same guys always looks for excuses after a game) sure they may find the croke park/All Ireland final a bridge to far but they have worked just as hard as cross to get there & are there on merit.

Dont worry about it Ross. Oisin described us as an average team prior to the semi in Navan and we
bet them off the park. This is not the Cross vintage of 99-2001. Brigids have every chance

Good lad Indiana, keep up your anti 6 counties bollox

Another excellent post. Like so many others I'm sure, I have read this thread from start to finish several times, trying to find words that fit and make sense to come terms with tragedy.  To see such wonder things been said about someone whom the majority of us didn't know and sadly now will never have that pleasure in doing so.
I am so f**king angry that such a beautiful, talented young girl has been taken from this life long before her time, the only crime she committed was been in the wrong place at the wrong time. The heartbreak that these families are now having to endure is beyond words.
Having lost a family member of my own in recent times and known the grief that's  felt, but the death of Michaela has compounded that grief in a way that you begin to question what really is life all about.
I have so much angry emotion inside me, so much so that I want to say, I hope that these f**kers root in hell for the loss and unforgivable heartache that they have caused to the families involved.

We all know your are in heaven already, you may be gonna from us but you will certainly not be forgot.  Sleep tight.

Francie getting the MOTM award is a joke IMO, shows the gombeen nature of our County (Board).  FFS the man played one half of a game of football as a sweeper with no marking responsibilities bar double-teaming Gareth O'Neill on ocassion.  Miceal O'Rourke did very well, but Dromintee would have been f##k all without Vincie Martin yesterday.
I hope you mean he was non existent Benny, like McKenna was as well. Don't know why people rave about Vince Martin, he's f**k'en useless. Thought the lad Morgan was emense, very powerful, and has pace.

brutal, brutal match by two very bad teams.  This thing about the weather - rubbish.  These are intercounty players - not Junior C players.  Can't pass, can't see the runs, can't shoot.  In all seriousness intercounty players kicking the ball 50 yards down the field to the other team - not acceptable at this level.  Do it once, bad luck - seventh/eighth times.......?????

Armagh are now playing exactly the same way as under Joe Kernan (and look at how many All-Irelands we didn't win) and under Peter McDonnell.  We have a non-functiong half-forward line who would have been better sitting beside me.  Thankfully Brendan Donaghy is on our team - superb full-back and most certainly an All-Star this year.  Defensively we were ok but going forward - unreal.
We hold on to the ball too long going forward - release it quick, quick, quicker.  Jamie Clarke is on fire and the ball he is receiving is shocking.
Very bad day for Armagh today and is only continuing to hide problems.  A good team will expose us - again.
Could agree more.  And to note the £18.00 entrance fee was as shocking as the match.

Can't see the logic why people think Ronan Clarke is the answer to Armagh's problems.  For a start he has played no football at this level all year, bar 5mins against Donegal I think. secondly for a guy with his size and strength he spends to much time on the ground, seems like the smallest man on the opposing team could put him down and even if he was fit to play he's be hacked to death by the sandwich brigade as the lad wouldn't be up to speed at all no matter how good he is.

Armagh Gaels need to get real & start with the weed out and county board level, then start picking the best man for the job which is clearly not the case at present in respect of management & players.
The whole squad is full of average players, bar 6 or 7, until the clubs have a say or be allowed to select the management and not the county sponsor then this is the shite that appear when the cracks open as the did yesterday
