I watched The Notebook on RTE tonight. Must admit, it was a very good film and Rachel McAdams was gorgeous as ever. What can I say, I'm a sucker for red heads! A sweet love, but you'll all be glad to know there was no tears from Ziggy tonight. Saw the ending a mile off though.

abbey what makes a chick flick?

Its a chick flick because its targeted at a female audience. Its a romantic film thats far more popular with women than any men. In fact most males I know didnt like it at all but their girlfriends and sisters loved it. Its definitely up there with the top chick flicks of all time.  :)

granted... but in sayin that some chick flicks are quite good... some are really bad...

Seen a trailer of Ondine somewhere a few weeks ago, looks good.

Another film I want to see, and I know you'll like it leenie, is Hachiko: A Dog's Story.

Nice film, but somewhat predictable.

seen 'From paris with love' with Travolta in a kick ass movie if there was one. Enjoyable and not to be taken to seriously. Good entertainment.

I've heard good things about it. Might pop over to the cinema in the middle of the week to see it. Was a bit iffy before, as Travolta is a bit hit-'n'-miss.
