The Iceman

Finally got around to seeing Southpaw - great show.
Was there some CGI in there for the fight scenes? Not sure if you's all have daughters but definitely scenes in the film that pull on the heart strings..... 7.5/10
I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight

Walter Cronc

Watched Black Mass the other night - 7/10.

Glad I didn't pay to see it at the cinema but decent nonetheless.

Watched The Intern. Kind of a feel-goody almost chick flicky type film. Taking that into consideration it wasn't bad at all.

that Star Wars trailer though.. very excited have to admit

Looks great! Know a load of people that have bought their tickets for the midnight screening already.

has the rating been announced yet? Holding off mentioning it to my youngest in case its a '12' !

according to the bbfc Star Wars 7 is a PG. Happy with that

heganboy

having good craic watching old movies with the kids, ghostbusters, gremlins, jumanji and a few others.

Saw the martian in 3D there- first time I really appreciated the 3d movie, it was a great show I thought

looking forward to star wars. Disagree strongly with the intern there- thought it was awful. Isn't that the great thing about personal taste!
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Watched A Most Violent Year last night, very good show.

Bond: 'Spectre'. Decent show, plenty of action, nice women, a 'good' baddy etc.   7/10

Just finished watching Intermission there on RTE 2. Hadn't seen it in years. Still a great movie.

Agreed.

But I think a decent show, 7/10, means it was disappointing.
Too much homage given to previous Bond films. And it seemed the starting canvas was that we need to get an airplane, a boat, a helicopter, a train and a car chase scene in and we'll work everything else in around them.

I saw "Sicario" during the week. Very, very good. Benicio Del Toro is spectacular in it.
