Not a snowballs chance in hell will there be ladies gaelic in the olympics!!
No disrespect but itl never happen as much as id love it to.

At least we would be gauranteed  a medal unless half the team were druged up and shame was put upon the country...then it would be like every other olympic year!

Yea think it was john hughes for monaghan that had that particular cancer and ids back playing again.

Wish Ronan all the best and a speedy recovery.
Great footballer and seems like a very nice and honest lad going by interviews.
Heres hoping he makes a full recovery.

QuoteI read somewhere recently that the number of hurlers in Mayo has doubled over the last 5 years. is that true?

Aye, I think they have 20 now!

;D ;D ;D ;D
Ah no, slowley but surley mayo hurling is improving despight the county board determined to do otherwise!!

Agree with the posters who were saying that the money should be spent in areas where the gaa isnt so popula, especially in urban areasr because if they dont it could prove costly in say 20 years

Even if that is true forkinknife  (to be honest i couldnt be arsed to check if it is correct) is still doesnt make it dublins home pitch any more than its our "culchies" home ground!!!

I take it your not one of them fair weather dub fans that know the ins and out of gaelic football ::)
ffs Parnell Park is Dublins home ground!

I could be wrong but heard that in terms of attendance  the dublin tyrone match will the biggest sporting advent in the world during the weekend, even more than the superbowl on sunday night which will have a crowd of 75,000!!

If this is true its amazing that the league match, which is only the second tier competition in football can attract such a crowd given its the first round and not even a final!
I know the major attraction is because its underlights but even still!!

Dont know about the best, but Mayo and Fermanagh both possess an awful shade of green

Think that mayos has a lovely shade of green  ::)

The dub jersey from back in the 70's is fairly nice.

Oh and i forgot but think that donegals and limericks are horrible, horrible jerseys!!

The mayo on isnt too bad-think its nice enough but that could be a biased view though!

And on the armagh jersey...think that having no collar sets it apart!!

Favourite one in the last few years would be the laois one from a few years back...the skin tight one with no collar-simple design but very nice. Also liked the kerry adidas jersey.

One of the worst out now has to be galways-thats not just because iv from mayo....well maybe it is but cant stand the top  ::)
