Will Rory Brennan pick up Peter Harte again like 2019 (came out much the best that day) or be moved back to mark Darragh?

Richie and Oguz should be a good battle both have stood out in the championship to date

Errigal tend to send Morrow after a dangerous player out the field - maybe Seanie O'Donnell

Loser goes down. Winner will have to wait 4 weeks before they can finish their season.

By my reckoning, if Moy win the Intermediate championship the promotion play offs will be Beragh v DKB and Aghayaran v Pomeroy.
If Pomeroy win it will be Beragh v Moy* and Aghayaran v DKB.

Edit: if Pomeroy win, do Owen Rows get a play off with Moy as they finished level on points?

Exactly, will the Fianna's 39 year stay in Senior Football come to an end tomorrow?. Not sure they've been in this kind of pickle before in that time?

Moy and Owen Roes both finished on 18 pts but Moy won the head to head with a 1 point victory at home with 3 rounds to go, so it would be the Moy who would get the playoff place should they lose the Final.
Ruairi McHugh and Tiarnan Quinn supposedly injured for Coalisland.

How has McHugh adapted to senior football looked like a huge presence at MaCrory level.

Quote from: trailer on October 20, 2023, 10:27:13 AMErrigal should win handy given they are basically four clubs rolled into one with a smattering of the best players from other nearby clubs thrown in for good measure.

Further explain this complete lack of knowledge. Talking about nearby club players etc is mc gahan being rolled out for a cameo Sunday or maybe one of the earlys.

Although there does seem to be a great deal of excitement about Errigal's potential for breaking new ground in the all ireland club. The stuff about 4 clubs and Glencull / Ballygawley split are old hat and need to be left alone. Ill go on one thing.  They made a bag of mistakes against Glen last year and could have won the game.  They have a forward line and midfield that can trouble anyone.  They have ex county player Aidan Mc Crory in the full back along with Cormac Quinn current county player. They have the raw material.  I think they can stand up to Glen but might struggle against the likes of Kilcoo, games like that can often depend on the ref..

And sure can't Kilcoo pick the ref.

TBF winning back to back Tyrones is a massive achievement so if they do it they deserve great credit!

Is it time to start thinking about 3 in a row?

Quote from: Aaron Boone on October 21, 2023, 08:46:10 AMErrigal are happy with the back-to-back Tyrone titles. That was the goal at the start of year.

Ulster Club is bonus territory but they will now give it their all
Now?
Did you post a week early?

LeoMc

Comfortable win for Na Fianna. They shouldn't fear any of the potential Division 2 opponents in the Div1/2 play off.

Great response to losing to arboe today from the lads.

Strange how our struggles temporarily United our near neighbours today .... huge show of strength from them at the game.

Alas they left earlier than they did last week and they'll be back to falling out over, over enthusiastic twitter posts for at least another 5 or 6 weeks  :-X

Moortown were poor today, a shadow of the team I'd seen earlier in the season. Looked like they had accepted their fate before the throw-in.

Big crowd turned out in Coalisland to watch Moortown not show up, or was it in the hope of seeing Coalisland relegated??

A poor enough game, didn't have the do or die feel to it, it was very flat. Coalisland won't complain at that.

I expect whoever they face next day out they won't get it as handy as today, but you'd expect them to have enough now.

But that Coalisland team are on the clock, they will soon hit the drop if it isn't this year.
Living the dream!!!

The team coming up will beat them as they always do. When was the last time the Div 1 team retained their place? Must be 6 or 7 years ago

Bit of quick research the last time the Divison 1 retained their place was in 2011 when Moortown beat Gortin ?

Out of the Division 2 teams currently left the Moy with their strength and conditioning and 2 exceptional forwards along with Colm Cavanagh playing like he is in his 20's would have been best placed to give the Fianna a game but as they will likely beat Pomeroy and get promoted via the championship the Fianna will survive the drop for another year. The Fianna would beat a Pomeroy or Derrylaughan by a similar scoreline to today.
