Teamtalk are not a "self appointed spokesman". They are a core of people with a passion for GAA, mainly at club level, who promote it across the county through match updates and weekly radio commentary from selected club games, and often weekly radio chat shows, and who run an annual club all-stars banquet to honour club footballers. All in all, they are a resource that club people in any other county would kill to have and they deserve continued support.

They didn't publish both at the same time. If they did, how could Donegal have issued a reply to what was initially said.
The teamtalk statement was circulating via that same web link for around 2 hours before it was updated to include a response from Donrgal.

Some of the responses to the initial internal Tyrone investigation suggesting the allegations were untrue.

What exactly have Donegal to gain by making this up? They have nothing to gain by making this up so the logical inference is that it's true and Tyrone are coveting their asses with lies!

Scummy Tyrone at their best, they are nearly out doing all their other scummy actions with this one, they have high standards when it comes to that kinda thing.

Tyrone releasing a statement based on the undertaking of their own investigation is absolutely laughable. They are winning no friends here at all.
If there's an investigation to be had then it should be done by the Ulster council who ran the game last Sunday.

It's even more disappointing that so many Tyrone folk seem more keen to deny or make excuses.

From what i hear the problem wasnt just the lack of RTE interviews, it was when MH did sky interviews he didnt wear gear mentioning the current sponsers, in fact he wore gear promoting a well known hotel in Dublin. When told this wasnt to happen again he agreed, then did the same the following week. If this is true then i fully agree with what is happening, he needs to tow the line, i actually admire Jordan for digging her heels in here. MH would be the 1st to give off if there was no money for overnight stays before games nor for feeding after games and training, does he think this money just appears, also if he had no brown envelope at the end of the year im sure he wouldnt be best pleased.

While I also heard there were issues with the sponsors in regards what Mickey Harte wore on Sky Sports interviews, it's incorrect to say he didn't wear the McAleer & Rushe gear at all on Sky.

Going by the interview footage after the Kerry game, I don't see any logo/name for the hotel you mention, nor can I see such a photo/video anywhere showing him wearing anything with a hotel brand on it.

Not a case of pro or anti Brolly from me anyway on this point. I just think that if you are going to call a work colleague "ugly" on national television, and you then claim to accept you shouldn't have done so, then it's a tad pathetic to immediately follow up your apology with a column in a national newspaper which is full of pathetically lofty arguments surrounding the right to free speech, and freedom of expression, which seem totally out of place given the childish nature of the insult/joke he's trying to defend.

Like I say, it's not a case of pro-or anti- Brolly from me. He's capable of more insightful analysis of a game than the other regular pundits put together, but sadly, it's been probably 5-10 years since he has bothered doing so. He nowadays reminds me of Katie Hopkins across the water... they both aim to be talked about by being controversial and insulting and are both extremely effective at doing so, and sadly, he nowadays has about as much interest in providing actual football analysis as Katie does.

Much and all as he apologised for his comments about Marty Morrisey at the start of his piece; I find it quite pathetic that he goes on to write a full column on the noble concepts of freedom of speech and freedom of expression and openness and honesty etc etc etc; all of which strikes me as quite lofty arguments to put forward in apparent defence of his right to call one of his broadcasting colleagues 'ugly', and which, to me, makes his claims to contriteness at the start of the article seem very odd, dishonest and self-serving.

Carmen will be no where near it. Unless they get extremely lucky again and play relegation threatened team up until semi final. When was the last time carmen beat a top 5 team in championship since they overcame a self imploding 14man coalisland 2yrs ago?
