After seeing that game last nite , who knows how far Utd would have went if Jose didn't mess up the tactics v Sevilla.

If they are able to get bale , they have every chance next year.
Not much further IMO couldn't even win the low hanging fruit (Fa Cup final) when Jose got the tactics right and his team had most of the ball in that match.

Wouldn't agree with that. Thought the tactics used were more suitable to the personnel missing than those on the field.

Who was missing other that Lukaku where the same tactics would be used if he started. Rashford started as his replacement and he's the same Rashford that scored twice against Liverpool a few months ago.

Fellaini also suits the long ball game.

Not sure of the reference to The Liverpool game, Lukaku was playing that day.
Majority of United best result this season was with not using long ball tactics. Are you like one of those in the media that thinks Jose plays nothing but a long ball game and can't win without those tactics?

Not at all. However the there's no denying the tactics were all wrong v Sevilla and on other occasions this season.

Not sure you'll find too many United fans disagreeing with that statement. What's your point tho?

Zidane has stepped down as Madrid manager. United should sack Mourinho and get Zidane this instant.

One league championship in a two horse race? Who wants to win the CL?  ;)

However unlikely I think this would be a popular move with supporters. If you buy the media coverage that United (despite finishing 2nd) are "rebuilding" this summer, Zidane with a huge transfer pot  would put together a very different squad to that what Mourihono will and the football would be likely to be more attractive. Whether he would be any more successful is debatable however.

I really hope United sign Fred as I'll save a fortune getting his name on my the kids shirts. Ibrahimovic nearly bankrupt me!  ;D

Anyone know much about him?
See he has bandied about a few of the big clubs, one to watch for the world cup?

Don't think I've ever seen him play, hopefully get some game time for Brazil. He's small which is unusual for a Mourinho signing.

Spell the end for Herrera? or will it be one in one out with Fellaini?

Can't see Herrera moving on with Fellaini leaving and Carrick retiring. I still think he'll look to bring in another midfielder.

That has been going on for a good few years now MS, not much the club can do about that.
