This isn't a story..... seriously, have so many people picked this up so wrong?  I have just watched the video - there's no inference that Cavan is not in the Republic - he's merely stating that he wishes to keep the topic on the country as a whole and not specific to certain areas!

Please watch the video - from about 40 seconds in - does nobody else see this!?

Cavan is in the north just as Donegal and Monaghan are in the Northern part of this island.

Was down in Mullingar over the weekend (what a wasted journey that was, but anyhow) a mate of mine came up with a great line to rebuff the begrudging free stater who didn't give a proverbial about us - he says he is willing to accept a written apology and a blank cheque from them for abandoning us in '21.  Perhaps we could use Ian óg in the negotiations for that!
