very disappointing performance by Roscommon.  I expected more.

Roscommon seemed unfit, second to the ball and dare I say it, looked disinterested.

When you completely dominating a game and all of a sudden your midfield and backs fall asleep and let the other team back into the game - thats blowing it in my opinion.
Ros had a chance to out the game away but a fistpass to the net followed by a bad wide cost them dearly.

Roscommon blew it.  They were the better team for long periods but completely died in the last 10 mins.

I dont think marren is out. I heard be was training on thursday with the team at gaelic park.  Im expecting a relatively easy win for sligo. Looking forward to the game and happy to see that ny is playing some local lads who i know. This can only be good for the game in ny long term.

I can assure you that you havent heard that from me before.  I was thinking how wierd it felt to be writing about my expectations of an easy win for sligo.

Roscommon are hot favorites and rightly so. Its a home game for them and they easily defeated mayo and have a proven record at u-21.
I just hope its a respectable score and not a replay of the hammering we got last year.  We Are under no illusions.

We've never won a conn u-21final and we barely bet leitrim so i dont know what you expect us to say except we dont get demolished altogether
