on what basis are you putting Barry moran down? is it  his Man of the match performance in the last championship game mayo played? would you really put an austin special of a mucky pitch against half a kerry team above that performance?.
barry moran has been messed about big time. hes exactly the type of player mayo are crying out for.
may be JOM see him as being to similar to Magarrity but sure surely hes a better option at centre field than  gill or gardiner and miles ahead of s o shea . Parsons i like the look of but he needs a while yet . and how long before the bring back d brady campaign starts
Lets just hope Moran doesnt get pissed off asnd piss off waiting for JOM to hit a lucky combination.

i think now that we know who brought in the deadly weapon we at long last have an excuse to ban the annoyingly unfunny cnut.
isn't there there some principle in law that if you bring in a foreign object that you are responsible for its use.

If she was over-weight and unattractive would anyone outside her family and friends give a f**k, I never heard of her till she died and I dont see the fuss being made other than to serve as a warning to others that taking drugs is stupid and dangerous!

you could say the same about JFK  MLK george best or 99% of dead celebs so whats your point

bjp ahead of aom at ff, you must be crazy.
weve all been here before AOM has great league capaign starts to falter by the end nowhere come championship time no moe than gill fairplay to him for putting in the effort but hes not and never will be a championship class player.
As regard donaghy still no evidence that anyone threw anything at him other than abuse. if they did let him demand an inquiry or else shut up and stop trying to defame mayo supporters

1st thing to remember is this is the 3rd year in a row we beat kerry in the league.

Tom Cunniffe is living off his fine showing against derry last year but that line of credit is running very thin. he is begiining to do the headless chicken routine once to often. we need to see a  more of conroy to even think about starting him in the championship. donaghy is a moody fecker and presents a particular problem which conroy was the answer to  (in a league game) and Star lost interest and srtarted  insulting the crowd. BTW still no sign of the plank of wood thrown at him. :o
Barry moran must be  the future of mayo's midfield he has the skill physique and attitude to lead this team and based on last week parsons could well be the man to partner him LONGTERM.
in the Forward AOM has won the right to convince on quicker turf but at the end of the day donkeys don't win derbys.
If i was a betting man this will be pretty close to the championship team. needles in the woodpile could be form of K conroy kilcoyne A campbell availibility of kiluillens  b moran Maloney :).

C barrett  heaney LoM

gardiner Howley higgins

Barry moran Mcgarrithy

T mortimer A dillion   harte

Cmortimer  BJP  Andy moran

in TV terms hurling is really holding back football with prominent ganes not being shown due to the A public sevice obligation to shown ' the greatest game in the world' the fact no mant are interested doesn't seem to bother . look at the attendances to NHL this year . in tullamore yesterday you'd hardly know there was a match on a good minor football game would cause more disruption
