All right for plan c or d. Giroud Sanchez Walcott all ahead of him for me plus Campbell. Sanogo needs to develop more. Still very raw. Would still love a genuine pacey out and out striker.

I agree good playmaker but was the problem against Armagh not being able to break the tackle? Against Louth in juniors he didn't want the ball and hand passed it as soon as he got it usually backwards. Can get away at club level not being mobile but not at county.

Lyng the obvious choice to replace Mackey???? Not a chance. Speed long gone. Was way out of his depth in junior game last week against Louth.

The kicking was a disgrace and the player in question should get a year. To say he is the only culprit is bull. Armagh lads weren't exactly choirboys. As for the game itself Cavan's reliance on Mackey was shown and no one else was capable of breaking the game line Armagh created. People saying Cavan were negative must have being at a different game. Armagh played the negative stuff and broke at speed and power. Cavan were clueless when they got to the Armagh defensive line. Jack Brady is not inter county standard. Average club player and how can Jason McLoughlin start his first game of year on Jamie Clarke. Terry has his favourites and today exposes it.

Off on hols over Easter, would like a couple of books for the trip.

Looking for a thriller type same vain as Dragon tattoo books, decent dective type. or best bio book

The Harry Hole books by Jo Nesbo are excellent.

Order placed, thanks

Read the first two on holidays, great books, I've placed an order for the next 3. Like the character, fcuk he's had a hard life
Just finished The Devil's Star - very enjoyable series alright. There's an American crime writer called James Lee Burke who'd I'd strongly recommend. His central character, Dave Robicheaux would give Harry Hole a run for his money!

Was just about to post this, have downloaded the whole Dave Robicheaux series and put them on the kindle, came highly recommended by Tony Baloney. Half way through the first one, The Neon Rain, and it is excellent.

Do youse fckers ever buy anything?

Why pay when it is free ?!

Legally free?
Terrible abuse of copyright by these feckers putting stuff on the internet.

The Dave Robicheaux books are set around Iberia, La. which was the same area in True Detective.

Must check out James Lee Burke novels. Currently reading Jussi Adler-Olsen's Q Department books. On 2nd novel. Enjoyed first one. Danish crime series.

If per say a Cavan man wanted these novels on their Kindle would there be any website to check out or a way of doing it?

Fair play Ballinaman, thats nice to get a win. Its rare to see a sprint finish in a distance race. You were playing to the crowd by the sounds of it! Tight hilly course as well by all accounts.
haha...don't know about that, I was in no state to be throwing out Brolly kisses to the crowd.Ya, couple of 180 degree turns around bollards which are always tough to get rhythm back after. Had to naviagte around much of the half marathon field who started 15 mins ahead of the 10km, I was dropping O'Driscoll side steps along a narrow piece of the route!

All, i am looking to get a GPS watch, all i want is GPS and a stopwatch.....anyone have an experience with them....Garmin seem to be top of the tree......thanks
I've a garmin forerunner, don't know how to use half the functions on it but does the job. It's about 4-5 years old at this stage and is grand still.

I got a Garmin Forerunner 210. Good job at a reasonable price. Shop around for best price online. Also use it cycling.

Done the Bohermeen half marathons yesterday and my net time is 40 seconds slower than my gross time. Can anyone explain this? Surely my net time should be more if taking into consideration how long it took me to get to the starting point? Doesn't make sense to me.

I would understand your "Net" time is the actual time it took you from Start line to Finish line. Gross time is baiscally from race start to you crossing the finish line. Therefore it took you 40 seconds to get to the start line after the gun.

Yeah but I was placed according to my gross time. Here is the link for results: http://www.precisiontiming.net/result/racetimer?v=%252Fen%252Frace%252Fshow%252F1684%253Flayout%253Dprecision_timing

Yeah in the park. Great win for Bailieborough in an exciting game. By far the better team.
