Would it be better/cheaper to book a family holiday in the north or south?

Or does it make any difference price wise? If in south, probably have to fly out via Dublin.

It does seem the UK  economy has suffered since  leaving the EU , but  what  if enough  big players  chose to leave  , making the EU irrelevant?

Would that not  make the Brexit decision a  good move?

Quote from: whitey on May 21, 2024, 06:30:38 PMI'm sure people are going to go ballistic (no pun intended) when I ask this question, but what exactly did Hamas hope to accomplish by the attacks on October 7th?

Was it a revenge attack for decades of oppression on the Palestinians?

Was it an attempt to start a war?

Was it an attempt to derail the normalization of relations between Israel and other Muslim Countries?

Netanyahu was like Tyson Fury on Saturday night and would likely have been removed from office. Why did they give him this lifeline ?

On a scale of 1-10 how did they think Israel would respond ? (1 being do nothing, 10 being dropping a nuke)
They wanted to stop Saudi normalising relations with Israel, they wanted to put Palestine back on the agenda and they wanted to swap hostages for prisoners. Israel will never be seen in the same light again.

How many different managers is that now under Todd Boehly? Pochettino never looked like a good fit for a club that are seeking instant success.
He had a decent end to season and looked to have them moving right way.Not having nkunku, James and chilwell most of the season didn't help things.

I don't think Harte would be into disclipline.

Always comes across as holier than thou but his Tyrone team loved the dark arts e.g. Ricey.

When listening to Harte over the years, you'd think disclipline would be No. 1.

Obviously not so.

There are thousands of Palestinians detained by the IDF. I believe the intention was to take hostages so as to negotiate prisoner swaps.
Personally feel like this was a setup and Israel wanted an atrocity to react to so they could flatten Gaza and claim it for themselves.

You think that Israel was somehow behind Oct 7th?

He's been miles off the standard for a year.

I see Sancho who has been in decent form with Dortmund hasn't made the squad either. Jordan Henderson a regular selection for Southgate also didn't make the cut.

Sancho played one decent game, I'll give him that, but the lad is not worth the hassle I'd say
