Think that deserves it's own thread TBH. Ironic this surfaces on the anniversary of Hillsborough though probably not a coincidence with the guardian serialising the book.

As the Jft96 campaign nears some sort of resolution I often wondered why there was no JFT56 or 66. Both disgraceful cover ups imo. Lessons learned and implemented from Ibrox in particular might have ensured that Hillsborough was avoided.

That is incredible

Hard to believe. Fair play to Fletcher for doing his research, I hope it leads somewhere for him.
When you look into Hillsborough and things like the Stardust tragedy it's really grim - cover ups come as standard. People just don't matter.

New Zealand PM John Key apologises for hair-pulling

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key has apologised to a woman who works at an Auckland cafe for repeatedly pulling her hair.

The unnamed waitress wrote in a blog that he had tugged her ponytail on several occasions, even after she had asked him not to.

....New Zealanders have been discussing Mr Key's actions on Twitter with the hashtags #tailgate. and #ponytailgate.....

Amongst others WTF things, does the BBC think that New Zealand is in Asia?

New Zealand is oddly not in(a)-continent.

I don't think Oceania (nor Australasia) is a continent - Australia (including some small islands) now seems to be the convention.
