That red card for a Baily was ridiculous. Can they appeal it?

You mean when he lost the rag and raised his hands to two different players?

Skin off the teeth at the end there.

Thought the winger should have wrecked it at the  end  there rather than squaring it.

Yup bit even with that Guidetti should have done better.

Jeepers Creepers

Both carded players were stupid. Still all to play for at the time so sully to get involved. Utd scored then sat back, Fergie would have them push on from that. Fair play to them anyhow, final it is.

How bad are Utd?

Was the biggest game in their history and drew so not too shabby.

How the feck was that the biggest game in their history?

Manchester United almost paid the price for not putting that tie to bed in the first leg. A full strength  Celta Vigo knocked Real Madrid out of the Spanish cup this season they were never going to have any fear of playing in Old Trafford and they showed tonight how comfortable and composed they are on the ball.

For Manchester United to be without their best defender for the final could swing that game in favour of youthful Ajax side. The final in Sweden was also ready made for the big Swede what a massive loss he will be.

I'd say more so in his history at Utd

It's nice to adorn the Europa league final now that it has achieved significant status and improved coefficient with the big teams now taking it more seriously.     Can't recall which pub team Liverpool played in the final back in the old format when it was on Channel 5 and a tuppence ha'penny competition but how times change with it now attracting the big sponsors and it being shown alongside the CL on BT Sport.  A United v Ajax final will elevate the competition further.  Roll on 24th!!
