That was a huge solid result and performance that would give the worst pessimistic supporter hope that top 4 (minimum) is achievable

8 games left. Top 4 is a real possibility if we can go on a run. Will likely come down to the last game or 2.

Outside Man City the other teams in the top 4 will drop points due to the fact that they're top 4 challengers rather than title challengers.  The issue is whether Liverpool will be good enough to put a string of wins together now.

Trent has been dreadful and his attitude has been poor. He needed a good kick up the jacksie, and that's exactly what Southgate gave him.

Normal service has now hopefully been resumed and Trent's class can shine through. Thank you Gareth!

Yes, Trent needed a good boot up the arse. Unlike Klopp who had to stick with him because of a abnormal injury crisis, Southgate had more options and took them.  Plus the time off from England meant he was fresher this weekend!

No harm folks that is a load of balls. Trent has played well in the last few games. Europe and PL. There's no way dropping him from England was a good call. It was purely egotistical from Southgate. Trippier isn't half the player he is. Walker doesn't even start for City regularly. Reece James has been very good, but we're talking about one of the best right backs in the world in TAA here. A few poor games doesn't make you a bad player. The attitude thing is rhetoric pushed to poke the fire. Attitude has never been an issue. The whole team had a dip in form, you didn't see the rest of them being dropped from International duty.
