I won the pga tankard comp at my own club. Does anyone know what happens now? Is there a regional qualifier?

Sorry to resurrect this topic, but the wife wants to go here next year for her 30th and i have never been so was just wondering what is the best way to go about booking it. Is it just better to go through a travel agent or is there much to be saved by doing it independently?
Also, we'd like to do the 3 major parks. Just buy tickets from the official websites?
Ps just 2 of us. I assume its cheaper to stay in hotel then?

General discussion / Re: Any landlords on here?

My wife works for a lettings agent in Belfast and had said the following :

The things you'll need to do are :
Obtain a gas safety certificate if the property has any gas appliances
If the property has oil, get the boiler serviced
If you are leaving any portable appliances in the property, eg kettle, toaster, tv Etc get them tested
As previously said if letting to 3 or more unrelated people's obtain a HMO license
If the property is built before 1945 you will also need to get a certificate of fitness from the local council. This costs £50 and lasts for ten years.

Make sure all references are obtained inc previous landlord and employer references. Some landlords insist on gettig a guarantor referenced.

Before a tenant moves in, make sure either you or the agent take a detailed inventory and schedule of condition. Making sure you photograph everything. Get the tenants to sign this on move in day. Make a copy of all keys given to the new tenants and make sure this is signed too.

The tenants also need to get a copy of the tenancy agreement and a rent book but your agent should provide this.

Also recommend to do quarterly visits and if your managing it yourself bring the inventory with you and cross reference against it!

Good luck!!

Can't see it myself to be honest. Think he'll go back to a.c. Milan if anywhere.

Luke Donald didn't let Rory hang onto the number one spot for long. Just reclaimed it back tonight.

Just got a quick question about the different heart rate zones. My main aim at the minute is to lose weight. When I start running at a fairly slow pace, bearing in mind I'm really unfit, I quickly reach close to my max heart rate. To reach the heart rate zones for fat burning, I have to walk briskly.
Does this make sense that just walking would enable me to lose more weight than running? Can't really understand the logic!

Stop f**king eating  :D :D

I've been looking at that too but I've had no option but to cut out the fatty foods as I can't cope with them anymore. Have to get my gallbladder removed in next few months. Just waiting on a date. So at minute, hopefully not gaining weight. Just need to start losing it.

Done this myself mr2:

Man city -1, Aston villa, West ham, and burnley

Refuse to back united as they're my team and feel its a bad omen but if I were to ever do it, I'd be for them to score 4 today.

Have just bought my mother in law a kindle for Christmas. Is there anyway to get ebooks downloaded from torrent sites onto them or is it through the kindle itself?
I also have an iPad with the kindle app. Is it the same story with this?

Through the Kindle bookstore. Most of The Classics are free (as there is no longer any copy-write - I think) so if she was in to that sort of thing you could pre-load it with lots of books.

That's the problem though. She's more into her celebrity autobiographies, more recent books. Not very computer literate so was wondering how hard it would be to set up an amazon account. Is it a one click purchase type of set up to buy the books?

£5 treble

Inter 15/8
City 11/10
Utd 4/6

Pays £50

I'd already got inter and city -1 in my bet but was informed today that Napoli haven't been beaten at home since 1994 in Europe. Hope that changes tonight though for both our bets sakes
