Your in the most expensive area of the fifth most expensive city in Europe, that looks about right.
There's a man with a mullet going mad with a mallet in Millets

I never really get people who complain about the price of pints or food. If you don't want to pay those prices go somewhere else. Get a carryout, stay at home or whatever. Taking a picture and putting it on the internet - It's up there with the woman who left a bad review because the restaurant wouldn't give her just hot water and a cup so she could use her own teabag.

Don't go.

Do you ask the price of a pint before you order, everywhere you go?

Far better areas to drink and eat in the city than Temple Bar. Wouldn't go near the area myself.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Just after watching a youtube video of "hill gate" That was the famous day Mayo beat Dublin in the 2006 All Ireland Semi Final. Btw Mayo lost the final  ;D

The way the Dubs carried on that day was disgraceful, both players & management. Pillar & Whelan are 2 big thick apes. Pillar a member of the Gardai, hitting Morrison a shoulder from behind was dangerous stuff. If he did that at a soccer match a full riot could have ensued.

Dont see what Mayo did wrong, or was it a home game for Dublin ::)

Rte of course with gobda himself Colm O Rourke spouting usual c**k & bull, sticking up for the Dubs, sure thats where the Dubs always warm up. Respect for Mayo, they fairly showed the Dubs that day.

The point is why they feel the need to charge such prices in these times and as already said there is better areas to drink and eat in the city. Any decent business owner should be going out of his way to make sure customers return.

So you are asking them to charge less than normal?

That would be the expectation. They claim one of the reasons for their normal and high prices is to cover the cost Live music. There is no live music now and probably won't be for some time.

They've also a fraction of the customers and been shut for nearly 6 months. On top of that I would assume they have the same covid protections to put in place as any other bar/restaurant.

The whole of Kerry should be tackled first.
