Watching The better sister on Prime, decent enough

Just finished Dept Q great show I really enjoyed it. Thought the last episode was very good and they did a great job of building the tension!

It's on the RTE player, fairly prominently too I think
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Season 2 of The Gold on BBC is enjoyable but not as good or as flashy as the first one. Misses Jack Lowden who was terrific in Season 1.

Andor season 2 is incredible stuff. I'd go so far as to say its the best Star Wars material since the original trilogy.

Loved it myself. But I'd place it Andor 1, then Rogue One, then Andor 2. Small margins. All brilliant.  And I'd put Andor 1 as the best Star Wars anything apart from the original.

Milltown Row2

Just finished the documentary on Grenfell tower, f**k!! Very emotional and very disturbing for soooooo many reasons.

How people, so far have avoided criminal convictions is beyond me..

There's also a special place in hell for that fella Eric Pickles, purely for his attitude at the time

Squid game picking up a bit of flack. Not sure it's warranted. Decent enough final series. I particularly enjoyed hide and seek.

Milltown Row2

It was good, I liked how it finished up

I liked squid games too - although I'd have liked a bit more background the Officer and his brother.
Is it set up for an American version based on that final scene?

Netflix bought the rights from the creator who got a one off pay day so I presume they'll milk it until it gets mastitis.

lurganblue

Yeah the creator says he is finished with his story, but side stories now look inevitable
