Not just this 6N, been an issue for the last 18 months or so.

But u think if men see a man got under early, it's no benefit to push over the line.

They have the notion to drop to the ground before going over the try when they are outumbered

Blowitupref

Result that was coming given the less than convincing win and performance against Wales.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Played better than I expected today, given our last few performances. yellow cards and their first try of 2nd half changed the game.

I had France -11 @9/2, was expecting a big defeat.

What's the chances of the Jocks "best team ever" turning over France? Sure we might be grand 😳

Had exactly the same bet on.

The way France held off initial Irish bombardment.. they were up for this one. Is a huge ask two Grand Slams in a row. Sort of inevitable.

gallsman

Ireland didn't win the grand slam last year.

Ever since the rule was changed Irish teams have failed to grasp the need to ground the ball.

Murray going over the line in the air sums up the problem he was never getting to ground.

Missed the attacking flair of the project players. James Lowe and Gibson Park

Rugby is bizarre on one hand we are looking at our strongest squad in terms of depth ever on the other hand we have a couple of injuries and we are f#cked

Squad depth only on paper, the one dimensional backs being produced by Irish rugby are all inter changeable hence why the loss of Lowe has such an immediate impact. Tack on aging centres and front row and it's a side that needs major surgery, only the back row has proper strength. the Irish conveyor belt of talent built on building monsters in the Leinster school system will take a team so far, but they are identikit players with little individuality.

France excellent today albeit they got one or two key decisions and permitted to play havoc with offside line, Ireland had a lot of pressure but only Conan looked like breaking up the French defence.

Prendergast is talented but cant run the ball against aggressive line defence as he hasn't the bulk, as has been the case for 10 years with Ireland when plan A doesn't work there isn't really a plan b.

French fans in the stadium and around Dublin today in smashing form and a great atmosphere

The drop between the first choice and 2nd choice wingers is huge.went the whole campaign without Furlong. No.10 not sorted out, and it may be 2/3 yrs before either man are good enough. France has a strong pick from top 14 clubs, we rely on 1 provincial team. Ulster a mess with no proper academy or very strong school system. Munster too dropped way off too, what is their school set up.
