2 late goals. Magheracloone far better team on the day.

But fair play to the Arva men. Fairytale continues.

Austin Stacks comfortable winners against the Cork Champions today so the 'fairytale' will be coming to an end soon whether its the next day out or AI semi.

You come across slightly bitter there.

Can't see them beating Ballinderry so I doubt they'll be worrying about Austin Stacks just yet.

Totally second best nearly all day today. But winning is a habit as they say.

Sorry guess I got triggered when seen Arva and Fairytale lol. Anyway 2 Division 1 teams in the Intermediate Final now so no excuses anymore. May the best team win.

I think the team we should be questioning if that turns out to be the semi-final lineup is Austin stacks, who won 3 in a row club championships in Kerry from 2019-21!

On the subject of fairytales, don't forget the two Division 2 teams in the Junior final  ;D

Yes 3 former Senior All Ireland Club winners out of the 7 teams remaining.

No team that has won it before has won a senior All Ireland.

Muff along with Craigbane both Div2 in their respective counties.
Ballinderry & Arva both Div1 in theirs. But it doesn't really matter, apparently.

Most seem to be cooking the books, Derry no different the last couple of years.. Think we're due to go back to the norm from next year.

I think Derry are making a mistake next season. Too few clubs in junior.

I'm not sure what they will end up with tbh. I'd be all on for in creasing the junior league with 3 or 4 more teams rather than increasing the number of junior championship teams with intermediate league teams

I think we're along the same lines. I'd align leagues with championship again but have a third of teams in each division.

outinfront

Aren't Craigbane a relatively small club who lost the Intermediate relegation play off last year?
No club wants relegation from senior to intermediate or intermediate to junior.  Good enough to be in their division but not good enough to avoid relegation from championship (the previous season) - that's basically how these stronger teams end up in the tail end of provincial championships surely?

Dreadnought

How on earth are we back to Leagues again on this thread. Jeez folks...

That would render the leagues completely a waste of time. At least currently there is a little bit of compo in it as the bottom team can get relegated to D2. Imagine no relegation at all in the league ffs.
