Guys need to know what clubs/schools have had one of these pitches installed within the last year or so in the north here. Need to have a look at one for work reasons. Are they a good job, do they burn the legs off you if you fall on them. What are your thoughts on them.
Pretty sure the new Holy Cross school in Strabane has one.
I know it is used for soccer, but not sure about Gaelic Football. (It might not be a full size pitch and I have not seen it)
Kickhams Creggan in Antrim have a 3G training pitch opened about two months ago
Queens in Belfast has an almost full size 3G pitch. Best example I have seen.
Whats wrong with a bit of mud? Ponces ;)

The PEC (Queens) one is pretty crap - the "grass" is nearly all gone.
You'll find much better examples at:
Olympia leisure centre
Whiterock leisure centre

Sure you only know about mud since you moved to Meath ;) You were only use to the concrete before that :)

Havent played on it in about 18 months - but it certainly was top class back then. Does this happen to all 3G pitches....??

It hasn't seemed to happen to the others - but their "grass" was longer than the PEC's to start with.
Maybe its something to do with maintenance or construction, I dunno.
Either way, the PEC is getting a bit bare now, while the others are grand.
