Give Ziggy his dues, exclude all the articles he post and pictures, many many of his posts have a ring of humor to them.

It wasn't just funny, by the many incarnations of Vishnu it was the most memorable thread in the history of this board. GaaBoard life would be meaningless without it.

Don't be modest, if people need to worship at the CityWest Shrine of the Wrong Weekend they must be allowed to do so. They may want to hear more from the great teacher though.

T'was indeed one of the Fearon classics.

Kerry Group have d'auld CityWest booked for the weekend of 21st September I hear. There is some annual convention discussiing the temporary migration of certain animal types to Dublin around that time of the year I believe.

4 months and counting.

Temporary migration might not be the exact words, how about the 'we are only up cos its the final, boy' annual trip?  ;)

That could be a very kind gesture of you for your Cork neighbors. ;)

Kerry Mike or is it Mike Sheehy, I can't tell the difference anymore.
Do you have any Dutch blood ?

Do you remember when Holland came to town in September 2001.
Van Gaal the manager said that the Dutch players were more popular than the Irish players (actually true).
They had their hotels already booked in Japan for the World Cup.
They were enjoying the hospitality here so much that they felt sorry for having to beat us to get there.

Do you mean the hotel down the road a bit from the main Citywest hotel itself? I stayed there for the AIF last year. It is still called City West, but is the CityWest Golf Hotel.

There is also a Comfort Inn in Citywest.
