just as good/bad as a bottom half table fixture of the english premier league 8)

In fairness, a match between 2 league of Ireland premier teams and 2 premiership bottom feeders would have very little between them, apart from the better ground, crowd and atmosphere in the premiership.

Of course that is obvious the stadium, atmosphere etc will be better -im not denying that but the actual game of football being played is not too much different in terms of excitement (or lack off) than say Fulham v wigan

The best team in recent years for me were Shelbourne -think they played good passing and fast football -what a pity ::)
