Title: The Official Tottenham Hotspur 125 Years Thread
Post by: T Fearon on June 27, 2007, 02:26:59 PM
Just thought I'd let you all know that North London's original and only true club is celebrating its 125 birthday this year and what a momentous season lies ahead. With money being spent likes there's no tomorrow on the likes of Gareth Bale and possibly Darren Bent, we are strengthing relentlessly to claim our rightful place among the Premiership elite (Jose Mourhino gratifyingly considers us as genuine Title contenders next season) and the Glory Days are surely imminent once more.

Fair play to them with money like that being spent, Tottenham are guaranteed another top 10 finish.

Spurs always splash the cash every season- they normally have a really habit of collecting midfielders  ::)

Just one half decent midfielder with the following ten, and we have one hell of a team

Robinson

Chimbonda
King
Dawson
Bale

Lennon
Jenas

Zokora

Berbatov
Keane

not a bad team but I honestly think jenas is one of the most over rated players to play for premier league team let alone england - I just think he abysmal

bale is unproven at this std and inexperienced

king will be injured all the time

lennon- good but also the media have overhyped him too much as well - his crossing his sub standard- but he will learn

However, I do think they will do quite well this season and have a decent enough squad

Agreed. Lennon was one of, if not the biggest disappointment of the season and arguably the reason Beckham was recalled. Although SWP has to answer for that also.  Joking aside ye should be alot closer to the big 4 and should give the Arse a better run for 4th.
