Title: Comeuppance at it's best
Post by: ExiledGael on June 08, 2007, 08:29:31 PM
(couldn't find the old thread)
Brilliant TV on Sky News, Paris Hilton, seen cuffed and crying, has been ordered back to jail to serve her entire sentence!
Disgraceful that she got out at all for a few hours

Paris Hilton sent back to prison

Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton has been taken screaming from a Los Angeles court after being told to return to jail to serve out her sentence.
The celebrity heiress was ordered to attend the hearing rather than listen to the proceeding by telephone.
Hilton left jail on Thursday, just three days into a 45-day sentence for violating probation on a driving ban.
Her release from the prison, on unspecified medical grounds, had sparked widespread criticism.
She arrived in handcuffs and cried throughout the court session.
The judge said that she would have to serve her full 45-day sentence.
"It's not right!" she shouted in response, before calling out to her mother in the audience. (Brilliant)
She has been held at the Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood, California, in a special unit for celebrities, public officials, police officers and other high-profile inmates, and has so far served five days of her sentence.
No details of the medical problem have been given for "privacy reasons".

Also been told that she's signed a deal for a Hollywood Blockbuster based on her (now remaining) time banged up. It's already got a title, "The Shawskank Redemption". :D

For every day Paris is a good girl in the clink she will get a day off her sentence, meanwhile at the ranch American servicemen are dying by the dozen in Iraq but the main news of the day is this bitch and the fact that some judge had the balls to lock her up to finish her sentence.

The last time this country seen anything like this was the OJ circus only this time the guilty got what was coming to them.

Yeah, circus indeed, says a lot about the American justice system, though it's also been said that british justice is the best justice money can buy (or our own wee system for that matter).  I know it mightn't be PC to say it, but I suppose if she was rich and black, her defence team would have said it was a racially motivated act by the police and she'd have a good chance of getting off scot free.....?
