Title: Table problems
Post by: theticklemister on August 22, 2018, 11:18:48 PM
Two teams finished second in group on equal points
Both teams have played each other twice and both have a win apiece
cant go on score difference as another team at bottom of group have given them walkovers*
Is it a playoff then?

*same team has given them walkovers, can be used then?

this is all hypothetical by the way

Any team giving a walkover should forfeit ALL games.

Redo the table without Team Forfeit - does that give you a score difference advantage one way or another?

Tickle, If it was in Yorkshire, they'd probably chuck both teams out of the competition.  ;)

If 2 matches were played between the 2 teams, it goes on the combined score from each match.
so if team A beat team B by 3 points in the first game but lost by 5 points in the second game, team B will finish higher.
its in rule 6.21 & 6.34

Thanks I'll have a look at this. But what if Ladies? Can't find a rule on it
