And it finished Ros 2-16 Meath 4-17. The Roscommon new season has started in a similar manner to how their last season finished.

Laois did not beat Roscommon in a challenge unless it was underage. Our team did not meet up until tonight since last meeting the 22nd. Don't be spreading false info

Or avoid relegation back to div 2.

This time of year a score of 1-13 should be more than enough to win a game but the rossies have now conceded 5-33 in two challenges and its not hard to figure out where the main problems lie.

Mayo beat Laois last night 3-21 to 0-19 points !

Suppose to be a very good run out for both sides with Mayo having a few big guns back and Laois progressing nicely under Creedon who is a big hit with all the players in the Laois set up!

Challenge match today in Kilmainham today

Meath 5:13

Pity we couldn't do it in the league but Mickey Newman finished top scorer which is a good sign of his readiness to return.Ronan Jones got a run at midfield as well so he could develop into an option alongside Bryan Menton.

Down scorers: Darragh O'Hanlon 0-7, Conor Maginn 0-3, Barry O'Hagan and Ryan Johnston 0-1 each.

Meath: Paddy O'Rourke, Donal Keogan, Mickey Burke, Donnacha Tobin, Shane McEntee, Cian O'Brien, Padraic Harnan, Bryan menton, Ronan Jones, James McEntee, Cillian O'Sullivan, Ruairi O'Coileain, Bryan McMahon, Michael Newman, Donal Lenihan.

Subs: Thomas O'Reilly, Sean Tobin, Seanie Curran, Breen Conlon, Kevin Ross, David McQuillan, Joe Sheridan, Bobby O'Brien.

The Kildare/Ros game wasn't mentioned in Roscommon circles at all.
Just came to light via a stolen-sheep post.

I suppose with our record v County teams since the Sligo game last June we probably need to keep quiet.
Played 15 won 1 drew 1 lost 13.

It was fairly widely publicised in kildare. It was a fundraiser for the kildare team training fund so I suppose after our home game for our training fund against kildare in january this was the return fixture.

He played the second game. There were 2 forty minute games where both teams changed completely. Meath were very competitive in the first game (not sure of score, I was only half paying attention), but Mayo panel strength came through in second game.
