Title: Tayto as Gaeilge
Post by: qwerty123 on March 25, 2016, 03:36:27 PM
Does anyone know where you can get the Irish language version of the Tayto cheese and onion crisps up north here? I haven't been able to find them at all!

Call Tayto customer services team on (028) 38 840249 and ask why?

You have to remember that the two Tayto companies have been entirely different for the last 80 years and no product from the lesser Meath type Tayto is available in the 6 counties nor is the fine Armagh Tayto sold in the 26 counties.

You could ask them to produce an NI Irish language version.

The northern Tayto is the superior Tayto though.

No they aren't. Anyway King Crisps are nicer than both.

Are both Tayto manufacturers on this island prepared to fry for Ireland?

Free State Tayto all the way,  particularly with a creamy pint of Stout, used to be my Friday night indulgence in the local but the local is not closed  :'(
