Title: Incidental Contact
Post by: fearglasmor on July 20, 2014, 07:25:31 PM
Can a y student of the rulebook tell me if incidental physical contact is specifically allowed under the tackling rules.
Listened to Tom Carr today claim it was ok for 3 or 4 players to slap an opponent round the head because it was part of a physical contact sport.

Surely Tommy Carr's finest moment was Thurles in 2001, shouting and roaring at Maurice Fitzgerald, he really looked like and acted like the gobshite that he is that day.
