Can a y student of the rulebook tell me if incidental physical contact is specifically allowed under the tackling rules.
Listened to Tom Carr today claim it was ok for 3 or 4 players to slap an opponent round the head because it was part of a physical contact sport.

That happened in Croker just last year 8)
We made Tommy look like a decent manager. For a while.
Surely Tommy Carr's finest moment was Thurles in 2001, shouting and roaring at Maurice Fitzgerald, he really looked like and acted like the gobshite that he is that day.
