QuoteIt's prospects for success?

or as Hardy would say, its prospects for success?

Hard to know, do Unionists actually want moderation or do they want people who piss around with the likes of the A5 or the Narrow Water Bridge to piss off Taigs?

They may do better away from Belfast where Alliance have no real organisation.

basil was on nolan this morning.. i can see him doing quite well as long as theres no big issues/attacks to contend with. these type of events usally send the voting meerkats scurrying back into their respective voting patterns. basil himself is very likeable and the other guy just comes across a wee bit more conservative. it depends who else they attract into the party as reps

Where's the N121 ?

Dunno about the N, but I think the 1,2,1 looks like this:

           McHugh
  McBrearty  Murphy
          McFadden

Agree Basil's a sound guy.

Buses & buses from Ballinamallard & Fermanagh stopped him winning UUP leadership v Elliott  in 09.

Oh so that's what NI21 is? An unionist party which has "NI" in GREEN too. Very strange.

According to Basil on Twitter, they are going to bring a motion (or whatever they call it) to Stormony to do away with designations. I believe it's John who's bringing it.

Can't see that passing. That would be the end of the Petition of Concern. In fact, it's quite possible it'll be blocked with a petition.

Basil could never have led the UUP or held them together though.
