Great to meet you yesterday! It wouldn't be an Armagh Game at any venue in Ireland if someone from this board didn't greet me with an outstreched hand and introduce themselves!
By the way is that you in the background in the photo in the Irish News of the Cavan manager and team doctor after the game?
I must show you how to work a PM.
Show him Rule 3 when you're at it.
Which rule have I breached? I did not reveal anyone's identity or use offensive language?

Rule 3 -
any move to identify the real life identity of a poster on this board, where they have not done so themselves, is a breach of board rules

The answer is no.
I'm gonna hope Armagh meet Mayo sometime soon again. I'll be on the lookout for you Tony, and then there'll be a thread dedicated to me.
BTW, I hope it's not the qualifiers!!!
For information purposes, there is a section of the stand, filled with people (one of whom is TAM) in the photograph in question,so it's not as if there is just him alone in the background,so no attempt whatsoever on my part to reveal anyone's identity! ;D
Put the yellow, black and red cards away, even Maurice Deegan wouldnt reprimand me >: ;D
By the way Farrendeelin last time Armagh met Mayo I was introduced to Enda himself! No worries, I'll still talk to plebs from the county ;D
TBH, Tony I don't know who or what you are talking about.
Never heard of this entity before now..
Is he any relation of TacadoirArdMhacha by any chance? ;D
Surely this thread will be deleted?

All in Armagh would settle for that!

Do the rest of them not qualify for a thread?
No.Meetings are run of the mill, but the photo in the Irish News was what prompted this thread. I'm puzzled by the response of so many who are not connected to the subject. I was expecting a response only from TAM? Then again, I guess there are just so many people interested in everything I post, regardless of the subject ;D

If you were expecting a response, only from TAM, why did you not PM him rather than start a thread? :o
I feel awful offended Tony, you and I had a great chat at the Outlet the other week and you never opened a thread for me and let's face it I'm far more important that thon Cullyhanna hallion :P
I saw Tony a few years ago, wandering around the car park at Clones, with a big blue bag filled with junk food and fizzy drinks.
I hid.
I used to work for a call centre cold-calling for the Ann Summers S&M section. A 'Tony Fearon' was our comfort caller if we were having a bad day. I once sold him $990 worth of studded leather thongs. Could have been any Tony Fearon though.
BC1, but your photo wasn't in Irish News, well not since 1997! ;D
In truth I was ashamed to be seen by anyone at the Outlet! ;D

Good man Tony. Its clear I was well oiled after a night and afternoon sampling Cavan's finest nightspots if I was introducing myself to random strangers off tinternet. A few other gaaboard stalwarts were spotted over the course of the weekend, including the departed Our Nail Loney, sporting a Cavan top.
I'll not worry too much about being identfied. My theory on this and other similar websites is that I say nothing I wouldn't put my name to in any case.
Great that you were able to get to meet me all the same! Your weekend in Cavan was neither lost nor wasted! ;D
