Title: Dublin Socialist Shop
Post by: Feckitt on February 24, 2013, 09:24:18 PM
I was trying to find on the net details of a shop i saw advertised in An Phoblacht about two years ago.  Maybe it has since gone out of business.  It was basicly a clothes shop with radical/socialist leanings.  Che Guevara t-shirts, Spanish civil war stuff, 1916 stuff.  That kind of thing.  My memory is quite hazy but i thing they had a red star logo.  Just spent the last 20 minutes trying to find it online.  It's is/was in Dublin is all I know.  Any ideas?

Perhaps like many of it's profit orientated capitalist contemporary retail outlets,it has become a victim of the recession, and is no longer in existence. They should have given yer man Fergal Quinn or Mary Portas a call.

Judging by his opening post I doubt he wants the sf book shop. Should check with the workers party in Dublin, someone there might have a clue.

There used to be a old shop  near Capel street as you come from Parnell Street that sold all types of clothes/books/memorabilia , cant think of its name though.
