I've a rather odd question to ask but i was chatting with a friend this evening and got talking about different things from our childhood and both of us mentioned a chocolate bar with really hard caramel that would almost pull the teeth out of your head when eating them but for the life of me i can't remember what they were called but i do know they were gorgeous !?
Another one i've just remembered is a giggle bar, think it was chocolate with creamy fudge or something similar in the middle, any of these bars still on sale?
Ah no not the chomp, though it was a favourite too as was the orange flavoured version of it called smiley or something similar, the 1 im thinking of was hard as a rock and you'd be chewing on it for 20 minutes :D

The were a favourite of mine from Charlie's shop but had one a few months ago and it was so sweet it was poison.
Also had one of those pink and white nougat (or nugget!) bars a while back and although sweeter than I remember it was pretty tasty!
Anyone remember 54321 bars? I loved them.
Although not a bar, Vice Versas!

Sounds a bit like Highland Toffee although that didn't have any chocolate.

Jays them highland toffees were a danger too alright, the one i was thinking of was the klipso bar,was packaged similar to the macaroon and paid for a few dentist holidays over the years i'd say :P. When i was googling i came across another one a big time bar, they were class too.
Used to love these

Do any of you remember the Nutty bar?
Caffreys big time bar. You would lucky to have any teeth in your head by the time you finished it.
Lidl is mad into the retro sweets, apple tarts, refreshers, kola cubes & few others knocking about it.

Yep, but they're 5p
The big difference in now and the 90s is that instead of buying sweets in the corner shop the kids buy sausages..

God, I loved the feasts, they were something else.
I had a choc ice a while back and there was less mint flavouring and less chocolate, miserable hoors..
Very partial to an original or mint Feast myself but they are a health and safety hazard when driving as the outer layer of chocolate drops off!

I could never afford them kind of ice cream lollies as a wain; I use to end up with the ice poles. Occasionally I could afford the sparkles.

Where's the Fat Frog?!
Wobbly Wibbly wonder were the ticket.
Remember the yellow pack choc ices from Stewart's? The chocolate was less than a millimetre thick and the vanilla ice cream inside was a bit watery, but I always liked them.
Anyone remember these?
They were about 5p each, I used to buy them in bulk. Sort of a flat nougat with a tangy sugary powder inside. How I didn't end up with diabetes I do no know.
