Newcastle Utd out to Championship side Brighton!
It 2013 sir!
Ba scores for Chelsea. 1-1.
Forest 1 - 3 Oldham. Cloughie must be turning in his grave :-(
What a finish by Van Pan? Was almost glad to see Big Sam miss out on a big scalp. He can do some brown nosing now with Fergie in the Club Bar! ;D
Joe Cole had a decent game. Assisted both goals. He is bound to be a happy boy now.

Oh i'd say he's over the moon with 94 good minutes after he's spend two and a half years in Liverpool reserves or on loan to Lille. The Past is wiped! ;D

He came off with 15 or 20 mins left.

At last,26 years of hurt has been exorcised! Spurs 3 Coventry 0
Joe Cole was a regular with Lille for the one season he was on loan there, and I was surprised they didn't sign him permanently. He was running the show in a lot of games along with Edin Hazard (now at chelsea)
Muck draw for the 4th round there...

Money probably the reason, I don't think Lille were paying his full wages. And Liverpool probably would have wanted a few pound for him as he was well in contract!

Just looked it up there, and it was nothing to do with money. Lille were willing to sign him but Rodgers wanted him back at Liverpool.. Strange, as he never gave him a chance when he came back from the Loan spell.
that's not true - he played a lot of the pre-season games

Right yeah, so Rodgers got him back to play in pre season games. Premier league is where you prove your worth.
Cole had plenty of chances to impress at Liverpool and didn't take any of them.
Best of luck to him at West Ham.

Ah hope it goes well for him at WHU. Chelsea did not let his contract run out for nothing. He was 28 when he joined Liverpool and At the time of l signing him, i was sure he was a bargain and would add to the squad. I suppose the quick change of Manager from Hodgeson to Dalglish to Rodgers did not help.

I saw some stat the other day, that since 2002/2003 season he has averaged 13 premier league starts, tells its own story. As for Lille being interested in signing him, they probably were but they wouldn't have been paying him £100k a week so Cole would have had no interest in it.

Yeah if Liverpool hadnt agreed to keep paying him 50K a week for the next 18months of his old contract Joe would have gone no where. All this rubbish about going back home, you reckon he would have gone back to WHU on the 30k that they were offering alone?
Stuart Holden back in Bolton squad tonight.

Incredible stuff. Non-league Luton have done it, dumping Premier League Norwich City out of the FA Cup - the first team to do so since Sutton United beat Coventry in 1989.

His brother Joe played FB and Martin played up front for a few years, scored in final one year, has been living off it since I fear. Can't mind Jim though, but I'm sure i'll know by tomorroe no doubt

Good enough to reach the final but would no doubt lose in the final.
If they are going to get away with playing fifteen they will have a fair chance at winning it. Cute hoors those boys from the west.

If they were playing each other we would still lose.
looks like man city man utd everton and 50/50 call between millwall and blackburn in the semis. probably be something completly different.

Well a surprise there, Everton going down 0-3 to Wigan. Thought Everton would at least make the final this year!
Utd (IF) they get past Chelsea will have to play city twice in a week.

The way the draw went yesterday, Moyes will be kicking himself and maybe a few players at training this morning.
Fair play to Wigan, I think they'll beat the winners of Blackburn and Millwall and get to the final.

Dave Whelan will be hoping for Blackburn and I'd say it would be an emotional day.
Possibility of 4 Lancashire teams in the semis!! Must be a first.
I see Millwall fans were in bother again.

What goes around, comes around, eh, David??
Blatantly intentional. Red card and long suspension would be fully merited.
No love lost between the Argies and Brazil..
Bit of a moment of madness there I doubt. A long ban in the pipeline.
the FA have announced Aguero will face no action for the tackle on Luiz. :o
Hope Wigan win and stay in the PL next year too.
Would be like Wimbledon in 1988 if Wigan win it. Manchester city should win this final by two or three goals.
Think Wigan's luck might run out this year and they will go down. They have pulled off a few miracles in the last couple of years staying up. City should be too strong in the Cup Final.
James McCarty will have plenty of offers in the summer.
Be great to see Wigan win.
Yeees!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Miracles do happen unreal
Get in!!!
Repeat of Wimbledon in 1988 and also the same type of goal. Well done Wigan.
Fantastic result. Nice touch for the owner Dave Whelan. I hope now they go on and manage to stay in the PL.
Thats brilliant, love seeing the under dog win.
Shame they will probably relegated next week!
brilliant win. great to see the underdog have their day. hope wigan can stay up now.
