I assume when the digital switchover happens in October, video recorders will become useless? Well, as far as recording goes anyway. Or can digital channels be recorded on video tape?
If people have a digital box with SCART, then you could probably record the programme being viewed. Timed recordings of programmes will be gone, as I understand it, as the VCR couldn't understand the signal.
Did video recorders not become obselete years ago!
