Great goal but that f**king celebration...kick them up the hole if you're on the other team!

I thought David Beckham had copyrighted that type of goal.

Agree BC1 - joke of a celebration.

That's the one I'd have put up if I was being serious. (Sorry for the delay in replying. I was watching it a dozen times.)

Crap goal, loada fist-passing and hops, would it kill any of them to kick it? Can see now how Sheridan got the habit of running the ball over the goal line. Was that what his stateside trip was?

They following aren't really great goals but it's a savage story. Eamonn Zayed went over to play for Perspolis in the Iranian League and came on in the 82nd minute in the Tehran derby, supposedly the biggest game in Iranian football. It was his 2nd appearance for the club, they were 2-0 down and were playing with only 10 players having had a man sent off (think he was from Meath).

I don't think its that good to be truthful. The kick passing was atrocious. Lyons hit a decent kick out of the defence but the rest of the foot passes were terrible. Even St Colm screwed his pass out to the wing. As for his attempt to pick the ball up when he got the free, bend your back ye yella ****!  Then when it went into the FF line they played a bastardised form of basketball ball with all that hand passes and as for the finish, only bettered by Big Joe against Louth!

My favourite so far is the 1st. the Zayed clip was great, it's even better when it's your own team. :D B'ham's 3rd goal is as good as was ever seen at Wembley. I can't believe this is twenty one years ago. :P

Not obvious choices but I always loved this Michael Thomas goal in the 1992 FA Cup Final

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dc7wNR_gIlA&feature=fvwrel

and a goal Tomas Brolin scored v England in Euro 92
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqXCBxpU_WY

and it's hard to beat this one for fist through the ceiling celebrations...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veKx_gJavuw

I also think Rooney's v Newcastle was far better than the one he won the goal of the 20 Premier League seasons award for.

Haven't seen a better GAA one than this. 2 points down, 1 minute to play searching for that goal that you need but never get. Some shot.

Dan Shanahan had some savage goals that I can't find on youtube. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

One of those natural forward talents that you can't confine into the restraints of the modern game. Watching him play was like seeing a unbelievable under-14 on the pitch, all about driving head down and blasting the ball with savage power.
