Title: Would you change your lottery numbers
Post by: cokers on April 20, 2010, 02:45:26 AM
After doing the lottery with the same numbers for 17 years I got 5 numbers up last wednesday.

This has left me with a dilema.

Do I now change my numbers as the probability of getting all six up now is rediculous or do I stay faithfull?

:D The probability of getting all 6 is always so ridiculous so surely it's makes little to no difference?

in a game of chance what has happened before has zero relevance on what happens the next time, even if you toss a fair coin 99 times and get heads, the odds on the hundredth being heads again are 50-50.

Good question... keep the numbers would be the fox's instinct. You'd never forgive yourself if they came up and you'd jumped ship but you'll never know if you'd have picked other winning numbers if you knowwarramean  8)

Can you just keep your old numbers and use your winnings to fund new numbers on a new panel.

The Lottery needs your money.
