Can someone confirm if this game is on in Tuam or Salthill?

Flights just booked from Manchester to Galway with Aer Arann - can't wait! Does anyone know how far the airport in Galway is from the pitch?

Galway airport is in Carnmore just outside the city on the eastern side. Pearse Stadium is in the west of the city. If the game is in Tuam you can head north to Claregalway and get on the N17 to Tuam. About a 30 minute drive.

Be prepared for a bit of a delay in Claregalway though! ;)

Any decent hotels or b&b's in Tuam for the saturday night? laterooms.com offering £71 for room for two inc breakfast, seems ok?

I'd nearly stay in Galway and travel down to Tuam on Sunday if I was you, the nightlife in Tuam isn't the best!

Definitely stay in Galway. Nothing happening in Tuam. Total kip of a town tbh. Galway to Tuam is about a 35-40 minute spin

Not if you're in the hotel business
