Anyone know much about sore feet?? Im in fecking agony with my foot lately all along the left side of it and if i sit down for any length of time an have no shoes on when i get up to walk on it its agony , espec when i wake in morning and get up to walk on it.
Any ideas ???
I'm not a doctor tg, and I've never had it, but could it be gout? (I know from a few pals that that can be excruciating)
Shin splints?
Broken foot. That's definitely a broken foot.

Orior it aint shin splints when i get them its at top of ankle up my shin or at top of my foot this is along the side of it

Oi i dont eat donuts and i do walk!
Gout explanation here tg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gout)
Cheers for that fear - took a wee read of it though dont think its what i have cos it mentions inflammation etc when somethin brushes against it - but this is defnitely not something on the outside of my foot if ya get me - ya can feel the pain coming from the inside defnitely - its hard to explain tho
Falling arches maybe?
I'm killed with them, ankles bend in, have wrecked countless pairs of high heeled shoes, any boots I have bend inwards. I get awful cramps in my feet as well.
Actually looked at that as well Rois but i tink is it not more to do with soles of your feet although i could be wrong.
Dont want go running to docs when its probably nothing and had been in quite a bit with other stuff lately so dont want doctor to think aww its her again type of thing :-\

I wouldn't worry about that tg, much better to go and get it checked in any case.
Another possibility, perhaps:
Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarsal_tunnel_syndrome)
Or:
Morton's Neuroma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morton%27s_neuroma)

If the pain is less when you have proper shoes on which give arch support, it would give more credence to the fallen arch theory.

No your feet. Don't know if being to heavy would affect your balls.
i would go see a podiatrist TG, i know a good one in the Ballygawley area if you live anywhere near there.
Was going to say it would hide urs and make them look smaller but u dont need weight to do that eh
Cheers for them links fear i was taking a read , the first one could be worth looking into.
St Pauls whats a podiatrist - forgive me for being thick - wouldnt be beside ballygawley but not a million mile away either

its a foot doctor, to put it simply!! would have a more in depth knowledge of foot problems than a GP would.

Paudie A. Trist is a foot doctor lives over Ballygawley way. If it's causing you pain and discomfort then I'd forget about the embarrassment of the many sti appointments with the doc and just get yourself checked out.
Good man St Pauls pm the details of him if ya know them - cheers
TG it sound like to me that you have strained the ligaments that wrap around your foot and when your sitting they're at ease but when you get up to walk they stretch again and hence the discomfort/pain...
I could suggest treatment but it'll cost ya ;D
:D i know what your treatment would be :o
How would i have strained the ligaments though what would have caused that
You seem to have the dreaded "hysterics" along with your sore peddler.
Read the history of the vibrator thread and get shopping.
Potentially plantar fiscalis...

Maybe you were a bit worse for wear one Sat night and thought you were Brian Dooher and went over on your ankle ;)
As for the treatment??? can't say but it'll def take your mind of it for a while at least :D :D :D
Tyrone Girl, you have a broken foot.
I won't tell you again.
Do you feel it in your ankel too tg? I'd similar about 3 years ago, it was initially my ankle but was also that area you describe. Down under your ankle and along the side of your foot?
Wasn't really swollen or anythign but I couldnt put any weight on it at all at times and was always worse after I'd be resting. I didn't look about it but I wore one of those ankle supports which made the world of difference, after about 3 months I could walk ok but wore that support for about another 3 months after that before it was back to normal!
I thought it was ligaments that was the problem.

Have a bit of trouble with that/heel spur myself at the minute.
