Take your pick?
I think Monaghan owe us a cracker, this could well be the one....
No Aussie Rules this year, so the Monaghan v Derry game please.
Panc
Can we have the 'any game except the Monaghan Derry one' option please.
*runs out of the room, cowering*
I'd like to see Down v Laois for footballing reasons. I think it would be open enough. Or Longford v Kerry. A potential banana skin for an upset Kerry team. Longford in Pearse Park shouldn't capitulate, and if Kerry are still off form, that could be a shock. Kerry won't be taking it for granted.
I hope it's not Derry - Monaghan, because we've seen them play this year already. It wasn't a good game that day, but even if it was, I'd prefer to see something different.
I think both teams know what people think of them and as the man says unfortunately someone has to win. In a strange way I can see Monaghan and Derry men going out and playing with a huge amount of gay abandon making the viewer sit down, stare, hide the remote and tell their wives to pixx away off to the bingo.
Quoteplaying with a huge amount of gay abandon
:D :D :D
I'm not going to sit through another 70 mins of Rory Woods trundling around the field bumping into everyone.
:D
I think he's misunderstood and gets very little protection from referees.
Wasnt it banty who said hes the first name on the monaghan teamsheet every game.

Well, if you believed 10% of what is written on this board, it's what we should all aspire to.
Do TV3 get the match this weekend?
Because otherwise it's Clare v Galway in the hurling.
Yeah, TV3 have the 'pick' of the football qualifiers, and they'll 'let us know during the week' which one will be on. Paraphrasing Matt Cooper.
I'd like to see Dick and Doc again. ;)
Wicklow v's Cavan could be a good game and another chance for Micko to get one over an Ulster team....
Come on lads, there is only one option. We're all a bunch of rubber-neckers and we won;t want to miss the car crash telly in Clones.
The Ballad of tiger Woods
Oh how ye bate lugs and cause general mayhem and michieviosity
Where were you during the wars
Rory show us your scars

Down v Laois for me. Then live coverage of Ross Carr getting burned at the stake outside Canal Court
It would be Wicklow vs Cavan for me.
It would be great to see a Micko Team and us of course. We could express ourselves as much as we could and hopefully it wouldn't bee too negative.
QuoteWe could express ourselves as much as we could
Did ye not do that against Antrim? :P
Anyone but Cavan. Twice in the one year is already too much exposure for the Nation .... at least until Tommy Carr moves on to cement the demise of some other once proud football county .....
I think it should be Derry v Monaghan. Two really talented teams who play fast-flowing open football, supplemented by some of the best players in the country. Knockout football at its best, it has the makings of an absolute classic:
2-16 apiece.
Westmeath v Meath or Longford v Kerry should be broadcast live.
Monaghan v Derry should be kept to Aertel.
love to see either down and laois....or abit of exposure for tipp on the national stage...
They should show Longford and Kerry.
It'd be nice to see a weaker team getting a bit of exposure.
Wouldn't do Longford any harm either.
The Longford v Kerry game is on TV3 at 5pm according to www.gaa.ie
They just can't get enough of the Larries!
Or Monaghan, their game is on RTE2 at 3pm.
Own up, who voted for Roscommon v Wexford :D
Saw both Down and Laois this year, both are capable of playing good football and are big enough names to draw decent neutral viewership, should be a competitive game too. Down served up the game of the year in Newry last year on the web, give this one a shot! (Plus if Down do lose, there will be the chance to see the Down fans bid a fond fairwell to Carr!!)

That will be worth the admission fee alone.
yawwwnnn!!!....any opportunity to vent your hatred for Ross Trevor, it is getting tiresome by now.
I dont hate Ross at all brick, I think hate is a very strong word that people use too easily. I think Ross is a decent enough lad, great footballer, just a poor manager.
I Hear what youre saying but it is getting really tiresome, everyone knows your opinion by now.
Monaghan and Derry will be televised on RTE and Longford and Kerry on TV3.
Then Clare v Galway hurling at 7pm, so 3 games on the trot which is too much.
Id like to see Down V Laois, it'll be the closest game with the exception of Monaghan V Derry and although I wouldnt mind seeing it it'll be more of the same shit.
I'd rather that than sitting through Kerry giving Longford a hammering.

I think its good. There's also good variety in the 3 games. You'll have 2 evenly matched teams in Derry and Monaghan playing a hard hitting close game. Then you'll have something a bit different with Longford being a real undedog. Expect it to be an open game and hopefully a good home support will drive on Longford to put it up to Kerry although a win looks well beyond them. Hurling should be close to and will be interesting to see if Galway can build on the Kilkenny performance.
As I'll be at the game I don't care what they show but If Laois weren't playing I would like to watch Tipp v Sligo to be honest..

Why would he want to vent hatred against one of the most beautiful towns in all of Down?
Ill get my coat.
