Lads,
Can any of you settle a debate, a friend of mine of Galway extraction is adamant that the Connacht final is on the 12th July, everything else seems to point towards the 19th July. Does anyone know for sure or which date traditionally its on ?
thanks
19th July as per ConnachtGAA.ie
According to gaa.ie it's the 19th as well.

Likewise the Irish Times GAA supplement of last week.
Better keep the 19th July free so. :D

Do, I cant imagine you'll be doing anything that day. ;)
Must remember to look up this thread around the 21st June ;)
Ur right that its usually on the week before, along with the munster hurling final, dont know what the reason for the change this year, the munster hurling is on the 12th

Mayo v Galway on July 19th
Do you think Galway will make the final?
And it would be Galway V Mayo
I'd say the reason for the change is that if there were no qualifiers the Connacht winners would play the Leinster winners. That's the only reason I can think of as the semi-final is winnersof Connacht/qualifier v winners of Leinster/qualifier this year. Mayo v Dublin semi-final again so! :P
I just booked my flights, thanks lads, Look forward to seeing the Rossies and Sligo lock horns again ;).
Will Markievicz be big enough or will it be Castlebar I wonder. ??? ;D
Sure you'll all fit into Kiltoom.......
