July 23, 2009, 04:33:38 PM
I've had a gmail address for 2 years now.

Was doing a bit of laptop maintenance a few weeks ago and uninstalled a few programmes which I thought i didn't need (I'm not very good with computer)

Anyway since doing this cleanup I've not been able to view my gmail account on standard view but only have access to basic html view???

Also affects my use of hotmail and a few other sites, this one included.

Can anyone give me any pointers as to how to go about fixing this?
I've tried to download google chrome as this was advice gmail give on the web but I can't even do this as when i click on download the screen doesn't advance to start the download

GAA Discussion / Selling tickets on ebay.
August 02, 2007, 10:51:13 AM
Can't anything be done about this?

Had a quick look on ebay this morning and saw 5 different listings for the Dublin V Derry game next week.

For example:

http://cgi.ebay.ie/4x-Tix-for-DUBLIN-v-DERRY-BOI-All-Ireland-Q-Final-GAA_W0QQitemZ290144978777QQihZ019QQcategoryZ1306QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Already this has been bid up to 400 Euro
This guy has even left his mobile number on

Surely the someone at GAA HQ should be doing something about this...

GAA Discussion / A family affair
November 22, 2006, 02:23:37 PM
I saw this on the hoganstand website
many instances of this in mens game?
fathers and sons on the same team, whats the highest level this has occured at?

fair play to Brenda by the way.

It's family affair for Emyvale
22 November 2006

Monaghan ladies football great Brenda McAnespie and her 16-year-old twin daughters Aoife and Ciara will make a small piece of history on Sunday when they line out together for Emyvale in the All-Ireland ladies junior football final.

Supermum Brenda, who has six children ranging from 16 to five in age, will line out at midfield, while Aoife and Ciara will feature at half back and half forward respectively.
Brenda is a revered figure in Monaghan ladies football circles, having already won one junior and three senior All-Ireland medals with Monaghan. The twins were born a year before her first All-Ireland win in 1991.

Brenda transferred from here native Monaghan Harps to join them on the Emyvale team this year and she is now hoping to add to her haul of All-Ireland medals. The twins won All-Ireland under 19 and under 16 medals with St. Louis' College, Monaghan already this year and Ciara scooped the 'Ulster Youth Player of the Year' at the All-Stars banquet last weekend.

While the McAnespie feat is not a first – only four years ago Eileen McNally came on as a late sub to join her five daughters on another Farney outfit, Tyholland, who annexed this championship – it is unusual that Brenda remains Emyvale's driving force at the age of 40 while her daughters also have integral roles.

Emyvale meet Eadestown of Kildare in the final at Dromard in Co. Longford.

What you all reckon for this weekend?

Cargin v Clontibret (Casement Park, 1230 GMT, A McAlynn)
Errigal Ciaran v Enniskillen Gaels (Omagh, 1430, G Walsh)
Ballinderry v Mayobridge (Maghera, 1430, P Hughes)
Crossmaglen v Mullahoran (Crossmaglen, 1430, M Sludden)

For me it's:
